[So maybe he was gone for a couple days and needed the time to deal. He doubts anyone had been looking for him during that time since he disappears all the time. His memories took time to settle, to get him used to everything he'd had back home being...gone.
To not even having the same skills he'd had back home when he came back. He could feel they were gone. The All-Blades. It was like an empty kind of void he didn't know he would have if they weren't there, but it existed all the same. Then there was the hair...]
So, how often do people lose skills they had back home and end up with new ones altogether? Because I can't say I enjoy the unexpected swap.

I'm unfamiliar with gods, but I do know of such cults of faith, or things like it. [ He certainly thinks the Jedi count as a cult. ] They never end well.

The world is a better place without any of that, but... I suppose sometimes it is inevitable.

I don't think there's inherently something wrong with wanting to be a part of something bigger than yourself, to enact change in a world that needs it. To strive for an ideal, and to join up with others who also believe in that ideal.
