[Video turns on to show Riku sitting on the curve of what might be a palm tree at the beach of Heropa.]
So, I don't know if this is usual for this place, but for some reasons I got my old wooden practice sword sent by the government this morning. It's… an interesting reminder, to say the least.
[He grimaces slightly because well… the last time he saw that sword was when he left it behind for Sora to use in then-Hollow Bastion.]
But anyway, that's not the only thing that showed up from home!
[He angles the camera up, to show the star-shaped fruits that are hanging from the tree that he is sitting on.]
These are called paopu, they are from my home world. Back there, we have a legend surrounding them… it says that if two people share one of these, they'll remain connected to one another forever… no matter what happens.
[He turns the camera back, smiling softly.]
So… if you have someone special in your life, you should pick up one of these to share.
[Then his smile turns a little more mischievous.]
Don't worry, Sora… Kairi. I'm definitely bringing one home for you guys.
[He's about to shut off the recording, but then gets distracted when someone behind him starts shouting promotions of Joe's Diner and their Destiny Pizza down the streets – his face falling into a grimace of horror and annoyance.]
…They put paopus on pizza!? Seriously? That's just–
[Riku doesn't even have words for just how much he considers this near-blasphemous.
You Don't Just Put A Paopu On Pizza.
…Or into any other meal, for that matter. Excuse him, he probably needs to go and give this Joe a piece of his mind.
Riku out(?)]

I don't think things from home just...show up though.

Really? So this is unusual, even for this place?
[It's good to know at least.]

...But yeah, sudden appearances are rare. Most of the time they aren't this tame either.

video; (Sorry I dropped the ball on our last thread! Mind if we give it another go?)
AS A PINEAPPLE PIZZA LOVER I SOMEHOW FEEL ATTACKED. D<JK JK ]It sounds pretty nice, to have a piece of home turn up here, right? And, I don't know, maybe it could be... interesting? Have you tried it?
[ Look who ISN'T on fire today, Riku! PROGRESS!!! ]
Well... I don't think Catra would go for it, but I'd still like to try one. Have they only shown up in one place?

No, I haven't tried it. I wouldn't, unless I was very sure about the person I'm sharing with.
[At one time, he had been so sure that that person would be Kairi… but well, he had been younger back then.]
…You want to share with Catra?! [Riku isn't sure if that's a good idea, but well…] Well, I found a grove of trees at the beach of Heropa. I guess, there could be more than one, maybe?
video; \o!
[ Though his second question has her blinking, that tone sounds so shocked. Catra hasn't been catty with her yet, at least- not worse than Gothel by any stretch of the imagination. ]
Is that really so strange? We came from different worlds. What happens when we leave here?
[ She smiles a little ruefully. It's not an accusation, or meant to be a complaint, simply stating a fact. FEELS BAD THOUGH MAN. ]
I can't travel between worlds... I can't even travel outside of my tower. I guess it's just nice to think I'd be able to still be connected to the friends I've made here. You know?

They just showed up out of nowhere?
[Things from home...that's a weird coincidence.]

[oh wow those really are the real thing aren't they?
Whoo boy. Sora's just going to... try and ignore the subtle teasing even though he's gone pink at the thought of it.]
Ugh, that's just- don't they know what a paopu means?
Re: video
[They are the real thing and Riku is all the more irritated about the Destiny Pizza because of it.
There was nothing subtle about that teasing, but Riku is too distracted by how much this upsets him for now anyway.]
They somehow seem to know, considering that they call it the Destiny Pizza. Some people really shouldn't be allowed to put a hand on the paopu.
[Mainly those that are only out for profits.]
video
[It just seems so wrong that the one piece of home they have here could be exploited so badly. Kairi's going to be furious and then good luck Pizza Joe.
And then something awful occurs to him.]
What if they take all the paopu and use them all up on gross pizza?!
