[A peculiar and alien humming of energy dominates the ambiance as the video cuts in, but not uncomfortably. In fact, if you let it slip past your attention it almost seems to rest in the back of your mind.

Good evening.

[Hands folded in his lap, Revan sits facing the screen with a soft smile and a straight back as a multi-hued light washes over him. Besides directly where he's sitting his surroundings seem to be shrouded in darkness leaving his broadcasting location a mystery.]

For those of you that I have not had the pleasure of meeting, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Revan and I've come to you today with an offer as a fellow import.

When I arrived here, in this world, I found myself lost, afraid, and forced to depend on the charity of the local government to survive. [Despite his statement he keeps his tone polite and without bias. He's just stating a fact after all.]

Many of you came to this world with little more than the shirts on your back, trying to make your way in your new lives. As I did. I may be able to help with that.

If you've left something at home, something dear or necessary to your craft, well being or... [A slight sideways dip of his head.] your heroic pastimes... I am opening a small business with the intent of producing or reproducing items you may be without. Or if you simply have a need for a specific item that can't be satisfied anywhere else, chances are I can help with that too.

I will have a site up shortly for you to submit any orders or inquiries, but until then I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about the services I offer. Or if you'd like to make an order now I can see what I can do. I only ask that you please include as much detail as possible and any specifications you would like included.

That was my concern as well. With the sudden arrival and how alien this world can be, it can leave people helpless.

How would you go about replicating medical supplies of a specialized nature?

And you, Thane. [Revan returns the greeting with a dip of his head. But afterwords his brow furrows as he sets his mind to the task.]

What would be the purpose of these supplies?

...I see.[There's a prolonged moment while he processes.]

What are the details of your condition? [If Thane is going to be direct about the issue there was no sense patronizing him with platitudes.]

[Make things, she means. It's a natural assumption to her, because she can't imagine one man having the natural skill to make anything that anyone could ask for.]

No. Simple technical ingenuity and a little elbow grease.

It would depend upon your need. Let me assure you there is little limitation on what I'm capable of creating. However if your desire is something outside the physical realm, sadly that's where we run into a hitch.

Are your greetings always this well staged? [Smiles, craning his head down a little as he sits, his other hand curled up under his chin. Looks to be somewhere outside perhaps? High enough that his hair is moving a little here and there. Looks rather calm though- his eyes are incredibly focused.]

If it seems so it's only by happenstance, I assure you. [Sure. His simple smile reveals little.]

I have little time to spare so I'm broadcasting from my workshop directly. The machinery isn't so bothersome as to impede.

[OOC: I don't know if Revan's mental resistances will make any differences here, but I'm down! If Hisoka does he'll sense a great power flowing through Revan, and if he gets a sense of what it is he can feel both 'light' and 'dark' energy within him.]

[OOC: Not unless he has a particular power that blocks powers, but it's honestly up to you, whatever you're comfortable with.]

You sure? Nothing wrong with setting a mood. [He has plenty of times on many occasions. Sometimes it gets a point across or plays perfectly into a theme you got going. But he won't push it, merely smiles and keeps his eyes on him.]

[ david's own location is less atmospheric, it looks like a rather stale and low-rent office. the walls are ivory and bare, but the window gives him a great view of a parking lot out front. very glamorous. ]

So, it's a fabrication business. [ something that piques his interest more than his needs. he came with his visor already, and that's the most important thing. ] Out of curiosity, what level of specification is necessary for your work? I can't imagine most of the people not capable of doing their own construction have a deep knowledge of how the items they might order work.

Correct. [Revan tilts his head a degree, the question coming as a refreshing surprise.]

You have already discovered the greatest challenge this enterprise faces. [And he couldn't seem more pleased.]

It would depend on the complexity of the item in question. If it served a very specific purpose I would need as much input as possible. However, if that was the case and the customer didn't have the specifications, I would have to attempt to replicate the intended effect using other methods. Which... Would not be ideal.

Essentially, you'd be improvising, doing your best to design and engineer a device that fulfilled the desired purpose. Less fabricator, more inventor.

I'm guessing that isn't as strongly in your field of expertise?
