video [backdated to 4th]
[ the video flashes to life and shows a dark, fluorescent-lit bar cozily secluded in someone's basement. Lights on low. Books on tap. Crane lurks in the back, inspecting the bookshelves, carrying some literature in his hand. He sidles around the long couch and plucks up a book someone left hanging around. Mutters words under his breath that go unheard to everyone except the person he's got for company: Iris West. She sits at the end of the couch, a cup of hot java cradled between her fingers. ]
Hey everyone. [ she beams, waving at the camera and pointedly ignoring said mutterings. ] As I'm sure all of you are aware, we've had some pretty crazy dreams these past few days - and Crane and I thought we'd help people out in a couple of ways.
One, my superpower happens to involve a lot of caffeine. By which I mean, [ she sets her mug down, reaching for another and filling it up, ] if you want to stay awake with extra-strength coffee or tea, I can give that to you, no problem.
Two, well - [ she glances back towards Crane, ] Why don't you introduce it? It was your idea.
[ after replacing a book on the bookshelf and leaving it where he'd found it, Crane turns around and grasps his hands behind him. he doesn't directly look at the camera, even seems a bit awkward. ]
Alright, I'm - we're - throwing open the doors of the Iceberg Lounge to anybody needing a good night's sleep. Dreams are not outside my realm of expertise and if you want the opposite of what Mrs. West is offering, well, I can provide that to you, no problem, too. Putting it simply, you'll wake up without being terrorised by the fantasies inside your head.
You're all welcome.
[ after making the invitation, he ignores everyone behind the camera and gets back to work, leaving Iris to wrap things up. ]
Whatever you choose, however you choose to cope with this craziness, you're more than welcome to drop by and seek some solace here. Everyone needs a little help sometimes, and we're here to take care of each other where we can. That's about it, so - stay safe, and until this calms down, take care.

text » sorry for the late!
When you say Coca Cola, you mean the caffeinated drink, right?
text » no worries I am there with you
[Talking about how she's addicted to Coke has occasionally gotten her some side-eye.]
text »
Just wanted to make sure it wasn't, say, orange soda in your world.
Hang on.
[ attached: one picture of a Coca Cola, in a clear glass, in front of the Iceberg Lounge's bar. The consistency and color look right. ]
I THINK I made it?
The waitstaff says it tastes like Coke, anyway.

I'll be over in a few minutes. Thank you.

I imagine it keeps you quite full of work.

You could always take over for us, though. See how easy it is.

I have no doubt it has its good and bad.
And no desire to take over.
I've got my own job to do.

Right? You should definitely drop by, Eli. Might as well drink it up before it goes to waste.
sorry for lateness!
Uh, yeah. I mean, but what happens when I get caffeine poisoning?
Audio
[ Oh, she sounds quite cranky. ]
Also, I guess is there anything we can do to help out while we're awake?
[ She doesn't want to feel like she owes someone. Not right now. Not when things are as they are. So offering her help was the best way for her to feel like she wasn't obligated to do more. ]

[Her words don't go amiss, but TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF doesn't come across well in first meetings.]
Re: audio
[ Maybe if she weren't so tired, she'd simply accept 'free' for what it was, but something like this absolutely felt like she'd owe a debt - even if just in her own mind - if she didn't do something. ]
