The Heropa Police Department issued formal thanks to the heroes that acted quickly to defend participants and spectators at the annual Heropa Struggle Tournament last month. While the names of the Planet-Tears who attacked the event cannot be release publicly due to their minor status, Officer Miley Riley noted that the juvenile offenders system will focus on counseling and rehabilitation over punishment. She also added that recruiters for tech companies should stop contacting the police department.

The proprietor of Jim's Crooked Bar in Nonah expressed bewilderment at the number of imPorts who have stopped in to ask him what happened to The Drunken Dragon tavern, as he is celebrating fifteen years in business at the same location this year. Rumors abound that the inquiries were part of an in-development prank-themed webseries which online imPort fans have decided should be called Dunked.

DUCK FAILS WOO WOO

De Chima Park Services are investigating the disappearance of all ducks from the duck pond in Kirby Park. The birds, including a pair of Mandarin ducks and their ducklings, which have attracted considerable attention on social media and in person, appear to have vanished overnight this past Monday. Park officials issued a statement noting that if the ducks are returned, they will not press charges, but if the perpetrators are caught, they will support prosecution on any applicable charges.
AEGIS FORCE IS STRONG IN THIS ONE

News and social media are abuzz after the press conference held by Aegis Force on Thursday, where their spookiest member Psychopomp took to the podium only to immediately unmask, revealing themself to be imPort veteran Kanaya Maryam all along. Maryam spoke at length about a coming threat known as Atropos, a being imPorts have some history with, powerful enough to destroy the world. She claimed that a botched attempt to learn more about this so-called death goddess is what led to the the most recent breach in the fabric of reality that plagued the Porter cities last week, accepting full responsibility. "We are committed as we have ever been to saving this world, the seven billion and more lives on it deserve that. This was a roadblock, but perhaps one that will leave us in a better place, where we can all work together to find a solution to this. I can't lose another world, not like this again."
But they had another gut punch for imPort fans, as Maryam yielded the mic to Aegis Force Spokesperson Jeroen Akobi. Akobi took the stage, looking more somber and a bit more rumpled than his usually pressed self, issuing a statement: "Many strange things have happened over the past week. Some emotional, some destructive, some downright tragic. As we all try to recover from the things we've witnessed, the dark parts of our subconscious and pasts that we've fought off until our very last breath, Aegis Force is committed to standing strong as a resource to help rebuild our lives back to where they once were. Where they ought to be.” Akobi’s statement then announced that, due to unforeseen circumstances caused by recent events, Aegis Force’s commander, Jacob Taylor, has been killed. Akobi stated, “He is missed, in these trying times, but Aegis Force soldiers on, as we must, to stand as an example of what imPorts can accomplish when they stand together."
Akobi’s announcement went on to say that, per Commander Taylor’s wishes, Aegis Force command has been left to Archie and Ashley Williams. When contacted for an official statement, the two new Aegis commanders declined to comment.
