[ Some might remember the last time they saw Sabrina she was living in the empty Spellman Mortuary, but the view on the screen today reveals she's returned to her assigned government housing in Maurtia Falls #001. Not that she had wanted to leave her "home", but with it disappearing altogether on her there was very little choice in the matter.

Her expression is contemplative, a low hum can be heard before she speaks. ]

For those of you that come from worlds where you were born with magic— uh, or I guess were given magic powers here...? [ She shakes her head, staring off to the side as her train of thought is derailed. ] Sorry, what I just want to ask is if there's anyone who would be willing to help me hone my own magic?

[ She's had quite a bit to think about since the Diomuhr fiasco. Sorry for nearly getting some people killed. ]

I'm wondering if there's anyone whose magic is primarily based on incantations and is adept at conjurations, too. Since my arrival I've learned that there are so many kinds of magic, something I honestly didn't know much about back home. I'm hoping I could practice alongside someone whose magic is similar to mine.

[ While Sabrina's opened up more about her witch powers, she's never made a public announcement like this before. It's almost surreal. ]

So if there are other witches, that would be helpful, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a witch. Seems like magic comes in all shapes and forms across the universes and still operates similarly in some places.

[ So many questions from Lestat and Cassidy, she's not sure why she didn't expect this. ]

I age the way any other person does. And I'll die when I'm old. I'll live longer if I complete my Dark Baptism.

[ But she refuses to do so. She tries to change the topic then to something he's mentioned, which does make her curious. ]

[ he gives what semblance of an old-fashioned bow he can, while holding a phone camera in one hand. ]

I haven't aged a day in two hundred years.

It's essentially an archaic language.

[ She cants her head, thinking. ]

I think it depends? I haven't seen any witch or warlock do much besides move objects or physically stop someone in their tracks. It always looks so effortless, so I assume there isn't a lot of energy spent over it.

Everyone has power here. I'm sure altogether if something came for us we could stop it before anything happened.

[ She's not alarmed by that, honestly. ]

Like Cassidy. Are you from his world...?

[ that gets a light chuckle. ]

That's right, like my friend Cassidy, but from a different world. Things might have turned out rather differently if we'd known each other when we were young. ... Well. Younger.

Honestly, I'm sort of glad it didn't come with me? People communicate through the written word much more often here, and I think I'd be intercepting a hundred texts a day.

Like—what'd they call the language of the elves again? Sylvan, yeah. Like that?

[...does Sabrina even have elves in her world, that's the question.]

That's a little strange. The people I know who could do magic, it's—sort of like they have a reserve of magic, and the bigger something is the more it takes out of that reserve. There's little stuff they do all the time, like flinging the windows open, and it barely takes any effort on their parts, but physically stopping someone takes a lot more. So does casting something to make them go faster.

[A sigh.]

If one of my friends shows up here, I might drop your name. They're better at this magic thing than I am.

While that is certainly ambitious of you, I must say I would love to see that kind of organization.

But people have banded together before to stop terrible things from happening, haven't they?

But what if it could help us figure out a way home?

I wouldn't mind that at all. Who's the friend?

Not when the sun is involved. And that's sorta everywhere during the day.

[ She should probably be afraid, but she won't let fear override her. ]

We won't, I'm sure of it. There are far too many powerful imPorts to let that happen.

Perhaps the concern lies in organizing them all.

Yeah, that's one part of me 'powers' I wouldn't mind losing, I'll be honest, love. But yeah, get me out in the sun and I'm a proper barbecue. They put me in Heropa when I first got here, funny bastards.
