What does it mean to revolutionize the world?

Maybe that's not the right question. I don't want the definition of the word or anything.

For you, specifically, for YOUR OWN, PERSONAL WORLD... What one thing would you do to revolutionize it? What one thing could allow you to live the way you want?

Do you have the power to accomplish that task?

There are devices in my world that can strip a person of their mind and personality, make them nothing more than a puppet for whoever controls the device. I would remove the devices.

I don't have the power. I don't know how I would want to live. I do know that if I could rewrite parts of reality for my world I would erase certain inequalities. Nothing I could do in my lifetime would even edge the world in the direction I wish it would take. It seems like nothing shy of a social revolution across the planet would.

Does that have much to do with the way you want to exist in your world? Or is it just a nice thing to say?

I said I don't know how I would want to live. I think I would want to live more than I do now if there were some reasonable way to be rid of the inequalities. Even if I did not benefit directly I would at least be capable of hoping for the future of my species and planet.

Those who value money, however... It seems like it's not possible to fully satisfy that craving. Can one consider the revolution complete then?

Greed is a whole other thing entirely; few escape it and money has shown it is a gateway drug for it, but the people who struggled for it? And I mean TRULY struggled. They know its value.

[ And Selina would prefer to think there's a difference between greed and what she does, thank you very much. No matter how blurry those lines start to feel after a while. ]

Difficult to say.

My purpose it to offer this chance to others. This is what progresses revolution to me.

The way I want to live... although I wouldn't describe myself as particularly ambitious, I don't have the power to get everything I would wish for--that I would be with all the people who are dear to me.

What's stopping it from being your reality?

Unfortunately, Miss Porter doesn't seem to have my own wishes in mind. I suppose that's how it happens when you're dealing with a multidimensional entity, but I'd like to think that if I was her, I wouldn't be quite so capricious.

I've made new and dear friends here, who I'm grateful to have at my side. That's something within my power, as long as they remain.
