What does it mean to revolutionize the world?

Maybe that's not the right question. I don't want the definition of the word or anything.

For you, specifically, for YOUR OWN, PERSONAL WORLD... What one thing would you do to revolutionize it? What one thing could allow you to live the way you want?

Do you have the power to accomplish that task?

Unfortunately, Miss Porter doesn't seem to have my own wishes in mind. I suppose that's how it happens when you're dealing with a multidimensional entity, but I'd like to think that if I was her, I wouldn't be quite so capricious.

I've made new and dear friends here, who I'm grateful to have at my side. That's something within my power, as long as they remain.

No, they won't. And nor will I, as I know from experience.

It's discouraging, and painful. As much as I feel that it's best to stick together while we are together, I understand why some choose to isolate themselves instead. I don't believe it's healthy, in the long run, but I understand it.

I suppose I do, as well.

You must have formed some truly great friendships here to feel so strongly about their value, even against their impermanence.

I'm sorry to pry. But it sounds like you lost someone, too.

Yes, but I suppose it's not much of a problem. If we all return to our homes, then I'll see her again.

We do know that, at least. [usually. not everyone goes home to a life that's waiting, but if this person knows that their friend has, Fuu won't bring up gloomy alternatives.] But that doesn't mean it isn't hard to have a friend depart so suddenly. You don't have to try and dismiss your feelings about it.

[and Fuu wonders about that title this person has chosen: End of the World. she'd thought it was a dramatic choice, but is it a description of their feelings instead?]

It's a bit useless to dwell on it, isn't it? I find direct action a more comforting thought.

[ 'End of the World' is kind of Anthy pretending to be her brother pretending to be a mysterious, unknown party, but... It's interpretable, isn't it? And maybe that's a good chunk of the point. Not that she planned it that way; it's chosen more out of habit than anything. ]

Thus the revolution talk, you see.

There is something to be said for doing something more dynamic. But I don't think I would say it's always useless.

May I ask how long you've been here yourself?
