[The child on screen looks as bright and happy as she sounds.]

I'm a pokemon trainer. I was told there's other trainers in this world and I've already met one- but he was rude. Really rude and yelled at his pokemon when he lost.

[For the briefest of seconds, there's a look of sadness before she sighs, shaking her head. Then Mizuki's back to bright and cheerful. As if she's itching to get out and explore.] To the other trainers- I hope you're not like that. B-but, we should get to know each other anyway, but I'm not in any rush. Oh and I can heal -It's a superpower??- so if we battle, you don't have to worry about holding back.

I hope you wouldn't, but they weren't kidding when they said this is a world without pokemon. It's weird, but so was Ultra Space, and the world like mine where um. Never mind. It was weird. But this is a good weird, because it's nice not having Ultra Beasts that want to fight me right this second, or try and kill me. Or both. [Said like it's the weather. But also moving on. She's babbling now. Or trying hard not to chatterbox at people. It's hard to tell.]

Anyway, if anyone would have any clothing shop suggestions or places I should visit or check out or anything like that when it comes to this world. I'm in Jeopardy if that helps, and honestly, even the dumb ideas would be great. It's a whole new world to explore after all. Though, um. Bonus if they'll keep out the fans. I know I'm a Champion and an imPort, but this kinda. Um.

It's overwhelming. J-Just a bit. I don't think I had as many fans back home...

[By the end, the grin's more than a bit sheepishly nervous.]

I don't think these'll hurt me but having that support would be really good. The file thing wasn't that detailed when it came to anything but my pokemon.

[Guzma's grinning, that manic expression on his face as he stares her down like she's nothing but vile vermin to be exterminated. As far as he's concerned, she is.]

[The implication behind that is certainly what it seems to be, with that edge to his voice...]

[It's only because Archie's mentioned different times that she's paused to take in, well, everything she can see about the Skull Boss.

He's different from when they last fought side by side at the Battle Tree. It's like they're back at Shady House and the glasses really don't help. When did he get a new pair? Are they a new pair? What happened to the round ones? Does it really matter when he's looking at her like that? Probably not and Mizuki knows she doesn't like this. But at the same time, she's no liar and she refuses to let him get to her.

Plus, if she's honest, is he really as scary as a guzzlord? Or a nihilego possessed Lusamine? Or any of the Ultra Beasts she's caught? No. But Mizuki knows not to underestimate anyone, least of all Guzma.

She shakes her head with a small grin.]

I'm not a liar! I am Alola's Champion and if you really want, we'll show you our power. I'll even heal your team after if you want, though you'll have shiny pokemon for an hour after.

[Guzma laughs, cold and hollow. That aggressive sort of laugh that lacks any joy, more an expression of anger and ill-intent, than anything else.]

What makes you think—for even a goddamn second—that I'd want you to heal my team? I got my resources, yo! I ain't needing no charity from a brat I'm about to break.

[He ignores the shiny bit, because that's honestly such a minute and pointless thing to him at the moment. Not that shinies aren't to be prized, oh no, but a fake shiny is not the same as a real one, and that aside? Any shiny given to him by this kid would be tainted anyway. Not when she's Guzma Enenmy #1 (sorry Darin, but they got history).]

[She hates that laugh. It reminds her of every battle that wasn't fun, be that at his hand or not. Yet she's faced worse. Lusamine. The Ultra Beasts. Guzzlord. The Tapu, even if those battles had been for fun, they'd been a true test. Never mind they'd allowed her to get data for her 'dex, her team had been pushed to the limits.

This... This isn't their world and as much as she wants to tell Guzma that he's wrong, that he would need her powers-

Fine. If this is the way things are (the Guzma she knows would have accepted??? and this is- she'd think about it later-), then so be it. With a small swallow, Mizuki nods instead with a small smile- the same small one of determination and a desire to do her best no what.] Ok.

This is Pika. She's a mimikyu, which is just one kind of pokemon.

Pokemon are animals from home, but they're not really like the animals here though, as they can do all kinds of cool things.

This's Pika. She's a mimikyu, which is just one kind of pokemon you can find, and she's from a place called Alola.

She's adorable. [Unsettling and a little off, but. That's part of the appeal for him.] I didn't realize we could take pets with us when we came here. Does that mean she got superpowers, too?

She really is, and I think so? She doesn't seem that changed from home as she still has all her abilities and stuff... But she's not really a pet either. It's kinda complicated and I'm not sure how to explain pokemon in this world's terms yet.

I mean, I guess she could be if she wanted -mum has a meowth like that- but she likes to fight other pokemon, which is how they get stronger.

Hello! I'm Nightfall. This may seem silly, but how old are you? I'm not legally allowed to give my age, but I bet we might be withing three years of each other!

From what you said, this isn't the first alternate world you've been to. I can relate! A lot of people from my world end up in other worlds, even if only for a little and I'm curious about your experiences!

[ In reality maybe just maybe she was more excited to be talking to another girl who looked to be around her age, and seemed to have some sort of battle experience. Even if the title of 'Champion' could mean sports, it could also mean 'Champion of Justice'. Either way, the fact that it sounded like this girl had been to another alternate universe than this one made her all the more interested in her. ]

It's not silly. I'm 12 myself. How come you can't legally give your age? I know we're Heroes here, but I haven't signed any contract or anything yet.

Um... Well. Mostly it was very weird and dangerous. But, even though one world was dangerous, I don't regret it because I did it to save someone. The other one was. Well. It was fun at least, even if it was a different version of my world and I didn't get to explore that much.

We are within a similar age then! [ She is also totally twelve. ] It's a rule from my world concerning super heroes. Since people from my world slip into other worlds regularly super heroes from my world aren't allowed to give identifying information to anyone when in another world. It keeps any friends or family we might have safe!

[ She sounds fairly cheerful for someone who basically just said 'I can never tell anyone my age because that makes it more likely a villain will murder my entire family, and maybe everyone I've gone to school with right down to my first grade class'... ]

I'm glad that one of the two was safe. I'm even more glad that you got to save someone! In a lot of the worlds I've been to things are very different from my world. Some of them aren't even technically alternate worlds, but are different planes of existence. Those can get a little scary sometimes. But luckily until I came to this world I had only been brought to one of those on my own once!
