Alola! I'm Mizuki. It's nice to meet you all.

[The child on screen looks as bright and happy as she sounds.]

I'm a pokemon trainer. I was told there's other trainers in this world and I've already met one- but he was rude. Really rude and yelled at his pokemon when he lost.

[For the briefest of seconds, there's a look of sadness before she sighs, shaking her head. Then Mizuki's back to bright and cheerful. As if she's itching to get out and explore.] To the other trainers- I hope you're not like that. B-but, we should get to know each other anyway, but I'm not in any rush. Oh and I can heal -It's a superpower??- so if we battle, you don't have to worry about holding back.

I hope you wouldn't, but they weren't kidding when they said this is a world without pokemon. It's weird, but so was Ultra Space, and the world like mine where um. Never mind. It was weird. But this is a good weird, because it's nice not having Ultra Beasts that want to fight me right this second, or try and kill me. Or both. [Said like it's the weather. But also moving on. She's babbling now. Or trying hard not to chatterbox at people. It's hard to tell.]

Anyway, if anyone would have any clothing shop suggestions or places I should visit or check out or anything like that when it comes to this world. I'm in Jeopardy if that helps, and honestly, even the dumb ideas would be great. It's a whole new world to explore after all. Though, um. Bonus if they'll keep out the fans. I know I'm a Champion and an imPort, but this kinda. Um.

It's overwhelming. J-Just a bit. I don't think I had as many fans back home...

[By the end, the grin's more than a bit sheepishly nervous.]

Hey, so... kind of just thought of something.

How many of us here were-slash-are teen superheroes? And, like, why is that a thing that's even allowed. Like, you're not old enough to drink but you're definitely old enough to stop a bank robbery. That's messed up, right?

Second question - because the answer to that is definitely because being a superhero looks cooler than it actually is and obligation and blah blah - how many of you actually know how to do first-aid on yourselves? Because anyone who doesn't should touch base with me, like, ASAP.

[Lacey starts a video feed with a bright smile.] Hello? Can you see and hear me? [She waves.]

Gosh! This really isn't a prank! It would have been the best one ever. A lot better than gulli-bologna. Hi! I'm Lacey from Dog River, Saskatchewan. Any other Canadians here? It's good to know we're not considered too polite and reserved to be imported heroes. [She gives a small, nervous giggle. That's a joke. I knew some people back home who did not fit either of those stereotypes at all. [Her smile falters.] I miss them. It's a lot to take in, you know?

[She grows quiet for a moment. Self-pity is not the first impression she wants to make. Her smile quickly brightens again.] I've been reading this information they gave me. It is very helpful and hard to believe at the same time. Porters, nanites, superpowers. It's like something right out of the movies. To be honest; it's not really the type of movie I'd watch. It would be appeal more to Brent and Hank. Maybe Davis. Those are friends of mine. Brent owns a gas station attached to my cafe and always has lunch at my counter. Davis is a cop that stops in often for coffee. And Hank, well, he hangs out at the cafe too.

[She has to take another moment to drive away the home sickness and get herself back on track.] Anyway, they'd go to see a movie with superheros, other worlds and everything else. I'd decline; I'd think it was all too far-fetched to watch and tell them to have fun. Yet here I am and they're back home. Isn't it strange how things work out?

I've been given a job here at Harold's Heart Attack Diner as a chef. That's kind of funny - you see, one of my powers is nutritional manipulation. I can make any meal low in calories, full of vitamins, all of that and not affect the taste. I'm hoping I'll be allowed to decide the menu. I have so many wonderful ideas. Please stop in for a bite. I'll see if I can get discounts for my fellow imports!

I'm going to be living in Jeopardy 003. Are any of my roommates hearing this? Hi! Nice to meet ya. Can't wait to see you in person. We can have so much fun. Movie nights, card nights, maybe a cocktail party, or give each manicures.

I hope I get to meet all the rest of you imports too!

Soooooooooooooooo. I feel like a lot of times when we post on here it's something serious, or someone left, someone arrived, you get it. And honestly, I've got no problem with that cause it makes sense! But how about some more icebreakers?

FanPort got me thinking cause obviously all the locals are crazy about superheroes, and even non-superheroes, but what about you guys? If you come from a world with superheroes like me, you've got a pretty good head start on everyone else. Still, everyone's probably got some kind of hero, right?

And now I'm sure you're wondering, "Stephanie, who is your favorite superhero?"

Uh. I had a poster of Superboy when I was in high school. Wait, is Superboy here? I just realized how weird this could potentially get...

So...Summer's almost here. Again--I mean for those of us that have been her for awhile. Question is, what do those of you that go to school do with your summers?

Back home I had camp. All year around, so I never really looked into what to do outside of that.

[ Angus takes a deep breath, adjusts his bowtie, and straightens his vest as the video starts. He is in 100% Serious Business Mode, and is doing his best to come off as a legit young professional rather than a nerdy kid who looks like he's playing hooky from an old-fashioned private school. ]

Hello Sirs and Ma'ams! My name is Angus McDonald, and - back in my world, at least - I'm the World's Greatest Detective. I know that sounds kinda braggy, but it's the truth, that's literally what other people called me. I guess boy detectives aren't really a thing in this plane, but I'd like to start offering my services here, even if they're in a somewhat limited capacity. I probably can't investigate anything too, um... "murder-y", for legal reasons, although I have done that before, but I have lots of experience! I used to do consultation work for the local militia, and I specialized in solving crimes, finding information, tracking things down, and resolving missing persons cases.

So! Um.

[ He pauses. He's never really had to advertise himself before (word of mouth did the job back home!), and oh jeez, he hasn't thought of a way to end this broadcast, he has to stick the landing! ]

[ A young girl of around twelve stands in front of the camera, framed just right so that there is an inch or two visible above her head and an inch or two below her waist. She is outside, likely in a secluded area of a park based on the rest of the scene. The lighting is quite good, considering the fact that this is being taken in a seemingly random location.

The girl herself is wearing a leotard with some sort of gauzy skirt that disappears off screen, a cape of the same material as the skirt, and a mask that appeared to be what happened when you merged a masquerade mask with a domino mask. All and all, it was all very purple.]

Hello everyone! [She gives a short wave] My name is Nightfall, and I come from a world with native superpowered individuals. I'm a psychic. In my world I'm a part of a public defense training unit called the Illinois Junior Hero League. Basically I'm a Superhero in training! [She gives a small laugh that is absolutely designed to be charming, but not too charming.] I was hoping that this world might have something similar available.

I was told that people brought to this world eventually go back to their own, and having experienced that before I decided it was best I try to do what I can in this world while I wait. Rushing to be sent back when the average experience shows you'll be sent back when the world decides you will be usually just ends up with a lot of frustration and nothing to feel good about.

If anyone else is from a world with superpowered people I would love to talk to you and compare. Out of the alternate earths I've been to this is only the third with a publicly known group of people with powers.
