[Anyone who has ever been in high school or seen one on TV will probably recognize the surroundings Bart is shooting in. The lockers and walls are painted in unappealing colors and the empty state says he's probably sneaking out during class to send this.]

So, I kinda have an important question. Does anyone know the proper procedures for testing out of high school as an imPort? Because I don't know about you, but I definitely can think of better ways to spend eight hours a day listening to lectures on material I already know.

And please, don't go all 'stay in school' TV special on me, because if I can test out, I'll still probably end up taking college classes, I just really need something that's a little more self-paced and a lot less waiting excruciatingly long times for the bells to ring.

[Looking around quickly, he starts to hurry along Generic High School Corridor #1 even as he goes to cut the feed. The hall monitor was coming.]

Are you sure that's what you want?

There are options that will work.

[ Harry considers the screen. Hmmm. He knows that outfit. ]

Bart...

[ she sighs, not even close to hiding her mood. Grandma’s gonna worry regardless! ]

Look, if you’re that restless, we’ll get your GED and I don’t know, a scholarship for the university here, but until then? Try not to cut the rest of class.

I am in a similar position but no one will tell me if it's possible to test out. My high school classes back home were significantly more advanced so I'm well ahead of students here and it would be nice to take classes that are challenging.

Speaking from experience, I'd say take the GED.

[She's had a few reasons to not be in school, but the final nail in the coffin was probably... the literal nail in her fake coffin when she fake died. Explaining that to the admissions office at Gotham U was fun.]

I guess there's some nice parts about high school, though... [Give her a second to think about her own experiences.] Yeah, no. Never mind. Definitely drop out.

[ Guess who's also in school! Except he's in De Chima, and he's dialing in from study hall. ]

If you get someone to pose as your guardian so you can skip, make sure you wouldn't hate it if they accidentally wound up as your guardian.

[Barbara's smile is one of gentle sympathy.] Looks like you've already got some help, so I just want to wish you luck. I started college at sixteen myself.

[HI BART just a friendly teacher over here]

I think your guidance counselor would be able to answer those questions.

Or maybe take some tougher courses? See if you could do dual credit college courses?
