Hello, all you cool cats out there! I'm Superboy, freshly arrived on this awesome Earth and I am having fun! How are all of you today?

I hope you're enjoying the Summer sun, since it won't be long until Winter is here!

[He laughs, spinning in a barrel roll as he comes to a landing on a rooftop. ]

So, I'm not great at this whole addressing people thing, but I had a question. Does anyone here know the names Metropolis, Gotham, or Central City?

Also, where can a man find a Big Belly Burger? Please tell me this world is not without that glorious palace of beef pulchritude!

[ Shortly after, a beaming Superboy vanishes as the video ends. ]

That's going to be useful here. Apparently, people can register as superheros.

So I heard. I'll likely register, as long as the government doesn't... [ he waves a hand. ] ...do anything dumb.

I've registered, but I know what you mean. That's a valid concern.

[She wonders if he had experience with that. She knows David and some others would be able to emphasize if he did.]

And I mean, that's part of our remit, really. To keep an eye on that sort of thing.

[ Conner is an old hand at facing government corruption. He had been born out of it. ]

So what do you do here?

[Jane hadn't, but her research had been taken for a while. She was still bitter about it.]

I'm a university professor, and an independent researcher. Theoretical astrophysics.

Nice! I'm going to try to get into college here. Maybe I will take a course from you!

[ He feels like this could be cool! ]

[It would be so cool!]

Awesome! Just make sure you know your stuff! They have practice entrance exams, so if you score high enough, you can test out of some courses.

[More education for everyone!!]

I'll try that. I am still figuring out what I am doing, but I definitely want to take classes and eventually get into college as a full-time student.

[ He grins. ]

You're welcome! College, or at least the first two years, is supposed to be about trying stuff out and figuring it out. Just make sure to drop classes while you still can. You'll get refunds.

School and I weren't friends at first. It took spending time in the 31st-century t change my mind.

31st century? How did that happen?

Ah, well, that is a lot longer story, but... er, the short cut is that I died, and my body, with help, healed, but it took a thousand years, or so, to do so. When I woke up fully, I was in that time.

[Whoa.]

That's ... that's crazy. I can't imagine what that was like.

Wierd. It was weird. But I got through it, and now I am here.

This world is like that. A lot of strange tales.

We should talk about it in person some time. Maybe for dinner.

Sure, why not? I've found a good ramen place, if you like noodles.
