003. - Book Club!
Alright, so I've suggested this a little to some friends of mine, but I'm thinking about throwing this out a bit wider.
I'm thinking about starting up a book club. Less in the style of book of the month and more organizing one or possibly more groups who can share books or even genres they love most with other people. People would still do the whole guiding discussion but not looking for high end critique so much as just talking about it.
We all need something to unwind and I don't doubt some of us are really fans of reading. I would think the arrangement might work best with members willing to buy their own books. I think for the first few meetings I'd be willing to cook either a simple meal or some finger foods to enjoy, but people could also volunteer to provide food or drinks.
Anyone interested in the idea?

I. Um. Yeah. I asked him out? And he said yes.

You've just saved me the cost of some VERY expensive beef. And I'm happy for you two. He mentioned you had implied there might be feelings there from his side. I'm glad to see I wasn't wrong in my suspicions.
[David may have had this pegged a while ago.]

What's expensive beef got to do with it?

CW: Discussion of suicide
That's right. He mentioned saying something like that to you.

[He really doesn't want to deal with this.]

Why'd you break up?

We never really... connected much after that.

I still think that's a terrible way to do it.

Doesn't mean I can't see a good thing. And you and Marco have potential.

I - yeah. I think so too? I like him, anyway. And - look, I've got MJ back home, but it might be months before I see her again? ... Is that wrong?

Well that's a cheerful thought.
