Assuming that the government wasn't the threat. While I've been talking to you, I've pulled him up. Aside from a site full of names, I've got nothing. None of those names turn up anything, and given that he's got a gravestone dedicated to him, that's fishy as hell.

Most of the other names haven't given me anything either. News about disappearances, some conspiracy theories, but nothing really workable.

I wonder if there's a guest book for that event, and if so, I wish we had the foresight to grab it.

Don't seem worth pointing out the government at a government sponsored event.

[Not that she's entirely discounting it, but when it comes to forming theories she prefers to bring up negative points from the get go and see how people respond to it.]

I want to find out what happened to those people, too.

So we find out why those people and not the thousands of others that go missing every month. Wonder who's decision it was.

That might be where journalism comes into play. They'd have to know the background on all of this, and find a good piece on it, and contact that writer and ... wham, you know?
