[Gabriel is not in the habit of doing this but despite everything- okay. Sure. Try. Try to be helpful. He can do this. Sure. The urge to bash everyone over the head with one giant celestial wing is not overwhelming him.]
While I can only assume that the government has some degree of control over these devices we've been given I urge everyone to remember. These were given.
given.
What's given can be taken away. And if say, you are given information, perhaps you should take steps to protect that information. Especially if people have no knowledge of where that information comes from. It's a commodity.
So if say, several hundred people get a piece of information they should be very careful about how it is handled since there's no way to tell who is potentially watching and listening.
[the longest of pauses]
This post has nothing to do with anything in particular beyond encouraging people to actually consider information valuable. And protect it.
Instead I will show you a picture of my pet. Because that is what social media sites are for according to Aziraphale. Behold my pet.
[There's a very cute picture of a big gray jackalope with a purple ribbon wrapped around it's neck.]
You may now comment about how cute he is.

Gabriel is not about to show his face on the network right now but.]
...I don't...name things. Well.
I've thought about it but in my world names have power. A lot of power. It has to suit him. He's a very noble little creature and he likes that ribbon. At least I think he does. He hasn't torn it off.
I like it. So. He may have to tolerate it.

Oh, I think the network is the least of our privacy concerns.
After all, we've all been injected with some sort of microscopic machines. Nanites I think they're called? They account for the tattoo, many of the effects on our powers, and they link us all mentally to the network.
I think privacy is already a lost cause.
Your jackalope is very cute. Does he have a name yet?
no subject
[He's not going to think about that.]
My point still stands. There's always something people could give out, something that
[That still hurts to think about.]
No. I don't name things. We don't name things. I would like to name him but names have power and I haven't found one that fits him.
I just know he likes his bow and he enjoys carrots and appears to be very happy he gets the bed in this dwelling.

I've wondered if the people who sent the codes are watching how we are reacting to them.Re: text
As my former coworker suggested perhaps our privacy is already a lost cause. That said. I will always urge caution.
Do you like my pet?

Besides, they somehow had every single imPort's number. I doubt there's much we could do to keep things private beyond physically meeting, and if this is time sensitive...

There has to be a way to deal with these things quickly for us while we are here.

Gabriel's acting like he's being subtle, but...well, probably can't expect someone like him to even know how this stuff usually goes. ]
Did you give him a name yet?
