[ Hope none of you have motion sickness. the camera shakes, as if someone is moving quickly as they're recording. then, it stops, the view changes. Bodhi has a cut above his eye, wearing his Air Force uniform, and in his hand he has a standard issue handgun. the sound of people crying can be heard in the background, he's addressing someone before turning towards the camera.

this whole situation is so very much beyond him and his paygrade. he's just a pilot. ]

- shhh, it's okay, it's okay.

We're pinned down in the store at the corner of Pine and Cherry, requesting aid - there are - I don't know what they are, zombies, I think? Multiple injuries on the scene, I've done what I can healing wise, but... it's not looking good out there.

Ple - [ glass breaking from somewhere in the distance; a scream and low growling is heard - Bodhi doesn't have any time to say anything more as something bodily tackles him from behind - the viewers will probably get a quick view of a woman, bloody and feral before the two of them go down, the camera dropping from his hand.

there's the sound of a scuffle, raised voices and the sound of a gun firing is heard. silence, momentarily - a grunt and footsteps before someone leans down to pick up the device. Bodhi looks shaken, pained and breathing deeply. Blood on his arm where there wasn't before. he looks at the camera, with wide eyes for a long moment. ]

Be careful out there.

[ he cuts the feed. ]

[He can see Jonathan, not too far away from where he is, climbing through a construction site.]

Hold on. I'm not too far from you. [He grabs a piece of rebar from the site and starts hurrying back out toward the street.] I'll get there as fast as I can.

[The feed shuts off, but Bodhi will soon hear the sounds of a fight nearby as Jonathan starts bashing in some zombie brains.]

[ Bodhi has been crouched behind some overturned furniture where he hears Johnathan, could see him from his vantage point. He'd been hesitant to fire his gun, already having had to scramble to a new hiding place to avoid further encounters, the others had at least made it up to the roof. It was just a matter of hoping zombies couldn't do stairs. ]

On your left!

[ the call is enough to get the zombie that had been puttering behind Johnathan distracted enough he could take it out. Hopefully. ]

[He turns when he hears Bodhi's voice, and this lets him spot the zombie that, thankfully, is looking at Bodhi. Jonathan swings. The creature's head partially caves in, but not enough to finish the job. It start to turn toward Jonathan, so Jonathan pulls his weapon back, swinging it again and finishing the job.]

[He moves briskly towards Bodhi.]

Where are the others?

[That's blood. And there are zombies around. Georgia's been around enough zombies that she knows how bad that makes this guy's odds. She wishes she had more blood tests left.]

You can't heal zombie bites. There's only one fix, and that's a bullet to the head.

[ The reaction that this comment gets is not surprise - he's seen a few zombie movies by now, guess there was basis in fact with that. A sigh, and Bodhi leans his head against the wall he's sitting at, staring at his arm.

[Her expression softens almost imperceptibly. She has to be hard because she knows how this works and so many people don't, but that doesn't mean she can't empathize. It's horrible. Probably even moreso if you didn't grow up with it.]

[He's got a bat and he knows how to use it. He picked it up after he and Rikki first ran into some walkers. He's also ghosting, which is a bad idea to do this long, but he's doing it anyhow.]

[On voice, he talks to his Brothers savior, speaking swiftly, the sound of... well, nothing, as he runs through things.]

How many people are with you? If they've been bitten, keep an eye on them in case they change. Try not to use your gun if you can. It'll only call more to you. Hang tight, I'm going to try and help as best I can.

[Georgia knew this world wasn't prepared for zombies. But it's still frustrating as all hell. Haven't these people at least seen horror movies?]

No, if they've been bitten, you shoot them. Don't be a fucking amateur. They're already dead.

[Oh, here we go. He's sneaking his way around silently, as a ghost does, but he has to talk up for this.]

If there are others who haven't been bitten yet, they can still be helped. Firing a god damn gun is only going to bring more zombies to them. If they're bitten and not changed yet, they can still help get others out.

Six people, er no. Five now, not including me. I don't think any of the others had been bitten, though. Not that I saw, at least.

They're going up to the roof until the ground level is clear, there's a child with one of them. [ He swallows a little thickly ] I think that was her mother right there.

Might be asking a lot, but if you can help them get to safety, I'd be grateful.

Five. Okay. How many walkers are around. Can you give me an estimate? I'll do what I can to help them, Bodhi.

[There is a crack of a bat to bone and a groan of a zombie going down. His foot steps disappear a moment after as he ghost's once more. He figures he can keep Bodhi talking for a moment. If there are five people uninfected, he'll do his best to keep them safe. He knows the man is a lost cause right now though.]

[There is another crack of a bat to head and he's gone again.]

It didn't work when I tried it. [ which is perhaps better since it meant taking the bite wound, but he still got bit, anyways so it didn't matter that much for him. ]

At least three. Nothing life threatening, though I'm fairly sure that the boy with them has a broken arm.

Luke, I... [ It's not like he did this on purpose, these things just kind of... happen. look, Luke has no room to talk about stupid heroics, here.

Either way this is something he does not want Luke to see, but knows he's going to find his location anyways, trying to hide or lie will worry him - and that he can help rescue these people from certain death... hopefully before he loses himself to being a zombie, too? ]
