[For a few moments the video focuses on a rather peaceful view of Jeopardy -- if anyone can call that city particularly peaceful -- before the video turns around to show Kenzi. She's much less done up than when she arrived but no less stylish.]

So when I arrived -- [a pause] correction -- returned, I wanted to play like I'd never been here. I figured if I faked it long enough maybe I'd just forget everything. Everyone I knew... [She trails off as she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.]

Anyways! Fate had other plans. As it does.

So. Let's try this again. Hi, my name is Kenzi and I was here about four years ago before being 'ported back home. Before that, I was an imPort for three years which means if you do the math I was only in this world for a year. The two before spent in, what're people calling it, oh, the Alpha World.

I'm one of Atropos' survivors and let me tell you right now there will be no surviving Atropos a second time. It'll be game over. The. End.

[She lets that hang for a moment before continuing.]

Not unless we -- and I mean all of us -- come up with a plan.

I know a lot of you just wanna hide your heads in the sand and hope this all blows over or are just rolling over and accepting death. Because that's what it will be. Death. And as someone that's done that a couple of times now I'd rather not for a third.

I know a lot of you probably want to fight. Will fight. But you can't fight a reality-bending, world eating god. Not without some help.

I know a lot of you are probably against it -- don't like the idea even, I know I don't -- but we need Lachesis and Clotho. We need to summon them if we're going to have a fighting chance. I mean it might bite us in the ass later, but I'm gonna be positive about this and hope it won't.

So that's my plan. What's yours?

Do you know anything about how to summon Lachesis and Clotho?

The solved puzzle said something about twins and voices raised at the church in Jeopardy. I assume voices raised means something like singing or a chant? But I have no idea if we need specific twins or just any ol' set of twins.

Sorry, I haven't really been looking at the network as of late, so I'm sort of trying to catch up. Erm...this might sound like a stupid question, but...

( She almost hesitates to even ask since she's fully aware that there's pretty much no way not to sound skeptical and rude, but that's just how she is. She's never been good at sugarcoating things or being gentle. Blunt is her weapon of choice and she doesn't really know how to wield anything else. )

You're really pressing that it's death, but you've just said that you were a survivor the last time she came round, so I guess I'm confused. Wouldn't we just all bounce to some other bloody world like this one or get sent home or something?

[Kenzi isn't bothered if the situation was switched she'd be asking the same.]

Death is a pretty high possibility but you're right. We could just end up returning to our respective worlds with no memory of any of this and it won't matter if we succeed or fail. Well, it would matter to the people of this world...

[She lets that thought go with a shake of her head.]

As far as being sent to another world... No. Not unless we have someone with power equal to that of Lachesis. She was the only reason we ended up here.

So what exactly is the downside of summoning them? If they can end whatever she's trying to do, that's the upside, but...

[ Derek's been having a rough couple of weeks, having been largely keeping to himself in order to sulk properly, so he's missed a lot and he's not really sure where to begin. Might as well start here, since this woman seems not only to know what's going on but what's happened in the past so that they can try to avoid making the same mistakes. ]

I would like to avoid dying again, too, so I'm open-minded. Feed me a stance to take.

Downside? Well, Lachesis was a bit cray. She seemed to enjoy some chaos from time to time but I think she genuinely cared about us otherwise, she would have let her sister eat us.

I don't really remember much about Clotho, though. I honestly wasn't paying too much attention to everything that was going on outside my little bubble until toward the end. So if we got more than a name and the possibility of her being dead I wouldn't know. [How history repeats itself.]

[It’s just Fett’s luck that he’d return here just as this world was about to be destroyed. He’s been keeping an eye on the network ever since news of the coming apocalypse broke, waiting for something more useful than meaningless platitudes and calls for unity. He hasn’t found it.

Which means, regrettably, he actually has to ask for information.]

How was Lachesis brought into the “Alpha World?”

[Kenzi feels especially unlucky to have to deal with this Atropos stuff all over again.]

Uh, I'll be honest I'm not one hundo on those deets. ImPorts had existed in the Alpha World for years before I ever arrived and I never paid too much attention. She might have always been there or maybe she had some help.

How can they be summoned?

That message everyone got said something about the alter in the spider's temple. That we need twins and to raise our voices high. Other than that, I dunno.

A song or a chant? And the bit about twins is vague and -- in my experience -- prophecies and the likes are not always literal.

Okay, fine -- my intended plan -- how's that?

Is this a case of the enemy of my enemy is my friend? Or are they sisters like in the greek myths?

I wouldn't call Lachesis an enemy or a friend. She just kind of was. And I dunno about Clotho.

As for if they're like the Fates -- again -- I dunno. Never met any of the Fates, just a pissed off Norn. [Kenzi you were the one that pissed her off...]

The sisters? Well, Atropos is not something anyone really wants to deal with. Lachesis is a bit cray, but nice enough. And Clotho is an unknown, to me at least.

I can't do anything that would help with the summoning itself, but if a bunch of casters need someone to stand guard while they work on the ritual, I could do that.

Oh, hey. [She feels a little guilty about what happened to him and it's written all over her face.]

Yeah, that'd probably help in the case someone tries to stop us.

My plan is to give my help where I can give it. I come from a world where gods have been scientifically proven to exist, uh, though we lack the ability to truly gauge their powers, but I don't know a lot about summoning gods. I know how to release gods from certain types of bonds, but summoning? That sort of information was kept under lock and key so strong even the cult leader who had us releasing gods to begin with couldn't get a hold of anything specific.

[ There's an edge of helplessness in her voice, and it's because she feels this is something she should be able to help with. She was, after all, blessed by at least one god, and the primary reason why two were running around free again back in her world. That and her strong interest in deiology should have meant something.

But without an idea of where to start, it didn't. And boy did she have no idea where to start. ]

Oh, that's, um, something. [She's not really sure what to say to all of that.]

I think the summoning bit is pretty well laid out for us. We just have to arrange the piece.
