There are times I think I'm okay - where I almost feel like my old self again. [All of his fidgeting and the fact that he is covered in sweat reveal that he isn't feeling okay at the moment. He always pushes himself to his limit with his exercises when his mind is troubled.]

They don't need me to rescue them. [His kids are...stubborn. Like him.] We've been here for months and they've never once called out for me to rescue them. They're Skywalkers.

I'm worried about him, but it comes with the territory.

But it's not caring. It's just worrying.

Vader never showed he cared; he never worried or faltered. He tortured them and -

And worrying about someone still isn't the same thing as caring for them. Worrying makes you feel like you're doing something for them while you're actually just fucking off to do whatever you want. Caring is sticking around to make sure people are okay before something goes wrong.

I have visions - that doesn't mean I know the future. Especially not here. Everything has been messed up since day one.

There is only so much I can do for him and it's not up to you to mend that relationship.

Everyone makes bad or tragic decisions and we have to live with them. If he wants my help, I've never locked my door; I've never ignored the network.
