[ When the video starts, it's obvious Henry's in his room, which is not where he'd prefer to be. With it being the weekend, he'd much rather be outside exploring De Chima a little more, but today it's just really gloomy outside and it looks like it might rain any second. That's not necessarily a deterrent, but it's the kind of weather that's more conducive to relaxing indoors and watching movies. So, that's what he's been doing until relocating back to his room for the time being. He hasn't really had a chance to meet as many people on this network as he'd like, so that's what compels him to speak now.

Mostly he just has questions.

Questions are a good way to start a conversation, right? ]

I was wondering...does anyone else have experience with...healing? Not the kind of healing where you fix someone's broken bones, or cuts or anything. But where you fix their...heart, I guess? Their mind. Empathic healing, it said in my packet. So I should be able to make someone feel better if they're sad or scared, or upset in some way. I just was wondering how many other people can do that, too.

[ He really likes the idea of that, but it's not as straightforward to him as his other power (even though it makes sense to him, of course): forcefields. He hasn't tried either yet, but forcefields are something you can see, you know what you're doing and if it's working. ]

I'm Henry, by the way. I live in De Chima, and my mom's here - well, one of them - so that's pretty cool.

Heropa's okay. A little quieter than De Chima? I guess it depends on if you're used to big cities or not.

I can— [ There's an obvious hesitation. But talking about superpowers is legit, right. Just blame the Porter. ] Take pain away from people. It isn't the same as healing, but it helps. Maybe it's similar to what you have?

I lived with my mom in New York for a year. [ And he has the memory of living in big cities his entire life, even though he...actually didn't. It's weird. ] So I'm used to it.

That sounds kind of the same. Have you used it a lot yet?

Then I guess the pizza here has some serious competition. [ Not that he's ever been to New York, it's just one of those things. Pizza and New York. Or is that Chicago??

And he almost answers with a quick not here, which is an answer Derek would definitely slap him for, so pardon the obvious hesitation. ]

Some. I don't know exactly how it works, but I know how to use it. I think it'd take a lot of effort to hurt anyone with it. If they said your power's supposed to help, it's probably the same thing.

It does, but I'm willing to give it a try. [ He says, like he's some kind of authority on the whole thing. ]

Not too long, no. I got here last month. Are they making you go to school?

[ What he's always aspired to be... ]

Yeah, I tried to get out of it, but my mom wouldn't go for it. I don't know...math and science don't seem as important as learning about your powers right now, though.

Yeah, but it'll seem a lot more important when you get home and have to get right back to math and science.

[ Said more like a joke than any serious advice. Been there, done that, was a huge pain in the ass. ]

Maybe you can work on both. People get upset about school, right?

I kind of wonder if we'll really need that stuff when we're out of school.

[ Oh, but that's a good idea... ]

Yeah, sort of. I kind of like visual instructions more. Seeing it in action. I'll just...practice and deal with it if anything bad happens.

She really, really likes math.

[ REALLY. Also testing powers on other kids possibly a bad idea, in retrospect. "If anything bad happens", slightly ominous. ]
