[To the surprise of, well, probably no one, Nox had secluded himself during the whole power-swapping nonsense and even now has yet to fully commit to rejoining civilization. Which is probably why this particular broadcast is coming from a dark and slightly ominous looking spot in the woods somewhere.

Concentrating dark side energy in one place for an extended period of time tended to affect everything around it, and his immersing himself in his study of the dark had been taking somewhat of a toll on the surrounding area. Not that it's stopping him- even now he's busy with a swirling mass of reddish mist, most likely an experiment of some sort he's not bothered telling anyone about.]

From what I've been able to gather, we're in the middle of some sort of holiday. I do not pretend to know everything about local custom, nor do I pretend to particularly care for it.

[Should he be making this broadcast while manipulating the dark side to see if he can conjure up anything of note here? No, probably not. Especially as that reddish mist seems to be getting a little uppity when his attention wanders a little too far and starts strobing and swirling about until he forces it back into a more condensed state. But he's going to keep on broadcasting anyway.]

But as I do believe there is some value in observing tradition, I felt it best to at least say something.

Yes. I've since regained the ability to access it. But that does not make losing the ability to do so any less troubling.
