I'm looking for a personal trainer.
ImPort or a recommendation for one who isn't one of us. I can't say I mind, though I'd prefer the former.
I suddenly find myself with a startling amount of knowledge in self-defence and a frustrating lack of the physical prowess required to put it into practice.
Also... if anyone sees a small jackalope with stunted horns in De Chima, could they please let me know. She managed to gnaw through the front door and escape while I was gone - hungry, I expect. Her name is Sylvi.
((anyone is free to find Sylvi!))

What kind of self-defense? I can't properly train anyone in hand-to-hand or with swords, not like this. And my Warframe wouldn't be a good alternative, no tells to learn from. I could do basics though.

When she does, she gives a small shake of her head.]
I have the training. That is... I had it. I remember how to move, how to... defend myself. But I did it all somewhere else. [The memories are still muddled. It hasn't been easy to adjust back to being here.]
I need to train my body to be able to do it again. Strength and reflexes. Can you help with that?
no subject
[Nothing like how the Dax had trained them. That would be unspeakably cruel to a normal human. Elite Orokin soldiers, these people are not.] Could start small, dodging and catching balls. Then up to changing training course, if this place has one of those.

I'm sure there must be one somewhere. Are you sure you wouldn't mind at all? I can compensate you for your time.
no subject
I don't mind, I have plenty of free time-
[Wait. Her brows knit together for a moment as Jane's words really click.] You can make money training people?
no subject
Of course. You can make money doing anything that there's a demand for.

[Processing this new information.] Okay. I'll have a look around for something suitable for an obstacle course. Or a way to make one.
no subject
That's so kind of you, thank you.

[As interesting as it sounds.]
But I do believe I might be more comfortable with a firearm in my hands than I would have been before.
no subject
[A firearm you say?]
What are you thinking? A pistol or rifle or..?

[She's sure of that. There are faint memories of the weight and shape of it in her hand, the recoil jarring her wrist when she fired, the smell of the powder...]
I'm certain. Though it feels... terribly unlike me.
no subject
[She tries a reassuring smile.]
Honestly, that's probably for the better. No one will expect it from you if they come at you which will be a lesson for them about preying on people weaker than them.

[Jane looks down at herself briefly, her brow furrowing. She wouldn't have given it a second thought before, but now...]
Do I really look that harmless?
