Despite all the setbacks....
[He lists them off, pointedly counting on his fingers.]
Missing cameraman.
Missing camera.
Fired scriptwriter.
Unexpected power changes leading to story adaptations...
[He takes a deep, sighing breath and continues.]
We will continue undaunted. THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
We will begin proper prep and rehearsals this month. There are still positions open. To apply for this once in a lifetime exciting opportunity, speak to me here!
And I know Valentine's Day is coming up but if you have any story ideas that don't involve myself and Tony Stark in compromising positions, then talk to me. We still need to brush up the script.

I'd help you out, but I don't really have any experience with script writing. I mean, I guess you can say I have experience with acting and wearing prosthetics, but I'm not looking for work right now and a lack of actors doesn't seem to be your current issue.

See? We use holograms in the eyes to give a human appearance there, but the rest of it's all practical effects. Prosthetics are really the best way to give that impression of 'completely real', from being able to reach out and touch someone's face and having the right texture to having realistic and naturally flowing movements.

Yes... Hmm... Something I've been working on, actually. Incorporating all of the senses involving hard light tech and more advanced procedurally generated holographics.
While practical effects have their uses they also can be time consuming and limited.

[He's confident.]
In fact it will be their very minds that convince them of its reality.

Come in, come in...
[The place looks fairly neat. There are two computers set up on a table over to the side with various tech parts scattered around as if there's some ongoing work in progress. He has a decent sized television facing a comfortable couch in the middle of the room and another table is off to the side upon which there are some plaster casts of faces.]

What are these for?
