'ello, 'ello. Friendly neighbourhood Bob here. Right, so... story time. Sort of. Anybody missing a nice, shiny, ring? I just... found it. Describe what it looks like so I know it's actually yours.

[ There's small, muffled sort of sounds as Bob switches the communicator from one hand to the other so he can pick up the ring that's been imagined into his possession. It's a beautiful ring, one that Bob could have easily kept. But it's got a distinctive look to it. One that looks like it probably means something to somebody. Bob might be a bit of a crook sometimes but he's not a total dickhead. ]

It's actually niiiice. Whoever's lost this must be vexed. [ A brief pause as he's wholly distracted from what it is that he's doing by inspecting the ring. After a moment he returns to himself and the communicator. ]

Oh yeah, and this uh... [ He's put down the ring again (with care, not that anybody can see that) and picked up what looks like something he'd use to fix a car. A T-shaped cylinder that he's not exactly convinced he shouldn't just bin. Placing down the communicator briefly, he rests the cylinder across both hands and turns it one way, then the other. ]

Whatever the fuck this is... [ Flicking from voice to video takes a bit of practice as he switches the cyclinder to one hand and plucks up his communicator with the other, but he finally gets there and the object in question flits into view. Unbeknownst to Bob, it's a lightsaber. His grinning face swims into view briefly. ]

Let me know, yeah?

[ He's in the process of ending the video when his curious nature takes over, eyes catching on what could be a button on the strange cylinder. Voice sounding further away from the video feed, his communicator already swinging back down to the desk he's going to put it on, the last thing that can be heard before the video cuts out is: ]

Ooooh, what's this then...







[ ooc: both items belong to in-game chars (taken with ooc permission!) so they will make their way back to their rightful owners but totally open for people either a) trying to claim one that isn't theirs) or b) whatever else! ]

[ If Bob looks a little bit sheepish, it's probably because he feels it. This is new for him. Taking something without knowing how and then feeling bad enough about it to want to give it back. Still, he pushes a cheeky sort of smile to his features and waves, crooked pinky and all. ]

Alright? Uh, I found it. Forgotten where. [ Actually, he found it in his pocket, but that's besides the point. ] ...wait, wait, hold on. What 'it' are we talking about? [ Because at this point he's going to need to find a box and slap a 'lost and found' label on it.]

[ Bob still has no idea what it actually is or does. As close as he got to pressing the little button, distraction comes easily and instead he finds himself staring at the screen of his communicator at the alleged owner of this piece of metal. An apparently not very angry owner of this thing that he's accidentally stolen. ]
