On a somewhat less serious note than I've been lately... leap year, cool, my first one here of being here on the day itself, an extra day of this world, et cetera. I've got to say, I'm almost impressed there wasn't a case of imPorts getting temporary jumping powers or something else a little too cheesy and on the nose in a bad sense of humor way.

...no one had that happen, right?

When we get an extra day in this month every four years. Keeping everything synced up since we can't speed up planets rotations. Yet.

Truly? The stars jump about to give his planet one extra day just to make things equal? Did they forget to make it equal normally or did one of the constellations simply eat three of the days and fall asleep with a full belly before the last could be consumed when the world was being created and the seasons set?

Honestly, something like that wouldn't surprise me. Mostly it just confuses the shit out of people every four years, because inevitably someone forgets about it for a minute. [ Not that she's done that before, nah. ]
