[Backdated before the Swear-In] A Story.

You're in a broken down space station.

The lights are off. There's no one here. The team working the planet observation project were planning their mission to planet Xyrek 5X0 to look for alien life and rock samples to bring back home. One day they started sending distress signals and asking for help, saying space motors were beginning to malfunction. You were sent in for repairs, but because Xyrek 5X0 is so far away, it took you a week to get there. And now there's no one there to greet you.

You stand in a dark hallway, and there's three doors, one in front of you, one to your left, and one to your right. There's one enough power to open one at a time.

The door to your right has a broken OPEN button, but you can probably fix it. The one in front of you looks fine. The one to your left looks like it's stuck on something, so it's a couple of inches off the floor.

You're a repairman. You're here to fix stuff, and you brought the tools with you. So you can just do it.

Oh, right, but...I still don't...okay never mind.

What happens after I fix it and press the button?

The door opens without an issue.

It leads to a hallway. The lights are broken here, but you can see some stuff still. There's a broken piece of machinery on the floor, where the door got stuck on. There's weird black sludge on the floors and walls.

There's three doors on the left wall, and one in at the end of the right wall.

I go over to look at the sludge

It's black and it looks like it's drying. It's getting stuck to the floor.

ew. that's gross.

[perfectlyhuman]

Yeah. Looks like it's been there a while, too. Or it dries fast.
