[ when the video comes up, most people would think it wasn't intentional because it's shaking a lot. It IS intentional but Toboe is a bit busy releasing all the hospitalized dogs at the Veterinary Clinic he works at.

As he does so, screams ("Let us out! Stop that! Toboe, don't you dare!!") from the nurse and the Veterinarian who had just been locked inside the doctor's office, can be heard. There is also so much barking and yelping going on, but you can tell the perpetrator (Toboe) keeps opening all the cages and the dogs are just running around the clinic like crazy ]

Run!! You can escape now! I'll meet you in a bit, where we agreed on!!

[ and the dogs bark and OFF THEY GO OH MY GOD DOGS EVERYWHERE.

And finally Toboe addresses the the video ] They do terrible things to dogs here!! They cut their-!! [ and suddenly he realizes what he was about to say, his face turns very red and he whispers ] They cut their... you know. Back there. [ testicles. He means testicles. ]

ANYWAY! It won't be happening again!

[ And Toboe's human illusion is gone and in place of a 14 years old boy there is a red wolf, THE HERO TO ALL THE DOGS and the one who will protect their privates! Something like that.

And off he goes out of the clinic, following after the puppies he just saved from a very terrible fate. No more balls shall be cut from that day on!

Who thought having a talking wolf working at a Vet clinic was a good idea... THINK AGAIN. ]

I can't say I've ever been fond of cats either, but you're not going to help change how animals are treated if you pick favourites. [A beat.] That is assuming you'd want change, of course. Beyond this single incident.

I don't know, I didn't think it through. I saw a dog coming out of the room like that, so I helped the rest. [ he didn't think about the cats at all ]

And if I told you there were far worse things done to animals than what you witnessed, would you want to help them too?

Uhm... yes? If I can. [ it's not a battle he wants to take on, but he isn't going to let some puppy suffer when he is passing by, of course ]

I've been assigned work with an organisation here that campaigns to stop the mistreatment of animals. It's not everyone's cup of tea, of course, but you seem quite dedicated to the cause already.

Eh? There are organizations like that? Really?

[ yeah he had no idea ] And what can I even do to help?

There are. [He nods.] And there are many things you can do to help. Research and campaigning, spreading awareness, or we even work with no-kill shelters and clinics, if you'd prefer something more hands-on.

Shelters? There are shelters for animals? [ the things he is learning ]

What do they do there?

They care for the animals until good homes can be found for them. Or until they can be released back into the wild. It depends on the animal and the shelter, of course.

Oh, that's really nice! [ now he likes those things a lot more! ]

... do they give animals food there?

They do. They give them all the care they need.

Can I ask them food for myself, too? [ he is a wolf, he is an animal. it should work. Right? ]

[There's a brief pause, half surprise and half figuring out how to answer delicately.]

Can you not get food for yourself?

Uhm... I'm not very good at hunting. [ it's hard to admit that, since he is a wolf ]

Supermarkets and other stores usually amend that particular problem.

But those are for humans. [ Toboe has zero understatement of how money, buying and selling works ]

And that means you can't make use of them? If you don't know how, I'd be happy to show you.

It's just... it's not a place we would use. [ wolves, he means ] It's easier to go through their trash.

Your situation here is different to the one you're used to, is it not? Surely you want to take advantage of what opportunities you can.
