Alright. I need a guinea pig. Or multiple guinea pigs. Maybe three or so, starting out?

Must have:
- Rabid fanbase that you want off your back
- Willingness to observe and record your day-to-day interactions while sticking to outlined daily prep instructions
- Willingness to provide small DNA sample

It's nothing elaborate or dangerous or super-weird, I promise! I'm just testing personalized people-repellent.

I don't want to say 'no' and act like it's easy, but it's more a matter of superpowers than formulating something from scratch. Unfair advantage.

It may prove to be more difficult than currently estimated, if Josh can't make my pheromones work for someone else. He seems to understand and use his own powers so well, now, but... Trickiness is still a possibility!

I see! The use of superpowers probably makes it far more... easier in a sense.
But I have to say it's still quite the endeavour. You should be proud of yourself.

Thank you. I'm glad whenever I can turn my powers into something useful.

I'll just try to avoid out-and-out pride until the final product's perfected, though. I don't want to get ahead of myself.

Was there a demand in the market for this concept? It's a little worrying to say the least...

I don't know if I'd say the market as a whole has created demand, but there's been some more drastic instances of imPorts being harassed by fans lately.

Which IS worrying, yeah! It's probably not so widespread that I'll ever need to mass produce, but... Still.

What are these fans doing?

There was a fairly recent kidnapping/hostage sort of plot, and an accidental death caused when someone tried to escape a crowd.

Those are the major incidents lately, but I'm sure the hassle exists in plenty of people's day-to-day, as well.

That's awful. It seems that as imPorts we constantly have to deal with these sort of events.

Yeah. To say it's lame is a pretty hideous understatement.

It's not bad enough that the cosmic hiccups were out to get us after the waves of ongoing super-science villainy and all that crap, but... Civilian hordes are the cherry on top of the shit sundae.

I do feel terrible for imPorts that have to put up with that level of invasion of privacy.
I can sort of empathize with that frustration, too. My family was in the public eye, often scrutinized back home.

I can't imagine.
I've been on TV a few times, but... I'm always glad that most people don't seem to recognize me or care all that much.

Getting hounded any more would be pretty awful.

So, knowing what a nightmare that would be... the least I can do is attempt to help alleviate the problem!
