[There's not much to hear in the background when Edwon starts recording. It's quiet, deliberately so, making him easy to hear. And when he speaks, it's with an imperial British accent.]
I've recently arrived, and I have a couple of questions. First: Are there really no stars?
Normally I'd be able to sense them - I'm Miraluka, so I don't have eyes - but here there's nothing. And I can feel the heat from a local sun, but as far as I can tell, it's not actually in the sky.
[He sounds really confused, though he's been doing enough digging to both know that the sun is in its rightful place, and to have some idea as to why he can't sense it. He just wants to know how people react to this.]
And so far I've only run into Humans. Are there really no other species here?

[But a droid... Yeah, he's not sure about this at all. Droids can be highly reliable, as long as you want them to do exactly what they're programmed for, and you trust their creator.]
That's true, for the most part. [He's thinking of Keeper, and the other people like her. He's never met a more competent woman.] Especially when it comes to soldiers, I imagine. It's nice to meet you, 622. You can call me Edwon.
[And hey, it's good to know the Empire is still just as creative when it comes to names.]

Likewise. I've been on-planet more than two years at this point, so if you have any more questions about this place, I may be able to answer them or point you in the right direction.

[And.. You know what, it's time to take some risks.]
And I won't say no to some introductions. Even if nothing comes of it.

It's not the most dangerous planet, especially not when we can't permanently die. But some of the anomalies you'll encounter can be hazardous, sometimes deadly to the locals. They tend to cluster around Porter cities, so if that's not something you want to deal with, consider moving elsewhere.
If you do stay in the Porter cities--Make some basic notes for yourself about the planet and your situation here, and keep them somewhere you'll be able to find if you forget. The anomalies here can mess with your memory and perception, so having a record can ground you. Saves a lot of confusion and discomfort later.
If you find an anomaly in progress or you're being adversely affected by one, call Aegis Force. It's an imPort organization that focuses on protecting others and responding to Porter-related events.
[This might be a little much to cover right now, especially when he doesn't know what might've happened to Edwon back in their galaxy, but...] And if you end up with any possessions or messages you want to send to people if you're ported out, don't wait too long in setting that up. Some people stay for a long time here, others don't. It's best to think of this place as a temporary assignment, rather than home base. [To put it in terms he understands personally.]

Writing down basic facts sounds like a good idea, at least. About the city, of course, he's not writing down anything about himself.]
What types of anomalies have you experienced? [A pause.] Won't Aegis Force just get caught up in it as well?
[And oh, that last part is interesting. Not relevant, but interesting.]
You sound like you speak from experience. It's good advice, 622, I'll keep that in mind.
