[There's not much to hear in the background when Edwon starts recording. It's quiet, deliberately so, making him easy to hear. And when he speaks, it's with an imperial British accent.]
I've recently arrived, and I have a couple of questions. First: Are there really no stars?
Normally I'd be able to sense them - I'm Miraluka, so I don't have eyes - but here there's nothing. And I can feel the heat from a local sun, but as far as I can tell, it's not actually in the sky.
[He sounds really confused, though he's been doing enough digging to both know that the sun is in its rightful place, and to have some idea as to why he can't sense it. He just wants to know how people react to this.]
And so far I've only run into Humans. Are there really no other species here?

[y e p] Popular's not always good. Sometimes it's just another way to say shoddy, cheap, unremarkable, boring.
Well, you're the only person here now. But... nope, doesn't scan to anything. Not unless you're about to go all Vor on me and start ranting about the Void for the next, ohh, ten thousand years--I'd prefer if you don't, by the way.
[He sighs, slouching in disgust.] Figuring this stuff out is the worst. Porter keeps changing the rules! None of it fits together--or at least it shouldn't.

Popular means predictable, so you're right. [So many humans he's met would be so angry if they heard Tyl say all of that... Which is exactly why it's funny.] No one wants to be too predictable.
[But no, he's still not going to talk about the Force. Especially since he doesn't like giving away too much if it can theoretically be used against him.]
Even the people who study it can't agree on it. It's too complicated and dangerous, apparently. [And the people who use it always turn into annoying assholes as a side-effect.] What doesn't fit?

[Big, big sigh.] Nothing fits. Tenno run on Void energy, right? Well--trust me, they're full of void-fluff. Awful. But there's no Void here. Not really! None I've been able to find anyway. It's all a simulacrum. A fake. Your 'force' has got to be too.
Still not one hundred percent on us being genuine either.

[So there are people here who pay attention to this... He has no idea what Void energy is, but he can run with it to avoid having to derail the actual topic.]
If that's true, that would freak out a lot of people. Is it possible that you're somehow being prevented from detecting the void?
If there's no Force here, we might not be. It's supposed to be in every living thing.
[he should sound more freaked out, probably, but he did all his freaking out already.]

Well, maybe, but then I'd also have to try n' squash this universal force and sixteen different kinds of magic into how the world works on a fundamental level, and that would require me to become a physicist. [Ugh.] No, probably a sim. Look, you missed the weird goddesses a few cycles ago, reality destabilization, all sorts of shouldn't-be-but-is-es. This planet's covered in boring humans, but some of that boredom? Fake. It's hiding a lot.

[It's only partially a lie?]
That sounds like something I'd want to miss out on. [Actually, maybe not.] I can't say I like the idea of being a game piece for some bored goddess. Are you saying our memories from before this place are faked, or that it's a virtual reality we're connected to from somewhere else?
