I've recently arrived, and I have a couple of questions. First: Are there really no stars?

Normally I'd be able to sense them - I'm Miraluka, so I don't have eyes - but here there's nothing. And I can feel the heat from a local sun, but as far as I can tell, it's not actually in the sky.

[He sounds really confused, though he's been doing enough digging to both know that the sun is in its rightful place, and to have some idea as to why he can't sense it. He just wants to know how people react to this.]

And so far I've only run into Humans. Are there really no other species here?

I've had ice cream. What flavors do they have? And what sorts of weird things?

All kinds. Chocolate, strawberry, though I have to recommend cookie dough in particular.

Weird things like lake zombies, robots taking over the moon, heart-stealing monsters, and being poisoned with a toxin that makes you see your worst fear. Just to name a few.

Now I have both dinner and dessert planned.

[And those sound like just another day on the job... Not that he's talking about his job in public.]

That doesn't sound good. How do people protect themselves?

Usually with our powers, assuming they're useful to the situation, or running like a troll is chasing us.

So there's no joint effort? What about Aegis Force?

Oh, they usually spring into action when these things go down, don't get me wrong. Sometimes these things just catch us by surprise unless they happen at the swear-ins.

But they're generally reliable?
