[There's not much to hear in the background when Edwon starts recording. It's quiet, deliberately so, making him easy to hear. And when he speaks, it's with an imperial British accent.]
I've recently arrived, and I have a couple of questions. First: Are there really no stars?
Normally I'd be able to sense them - I'm Miraluka, so I don't have eyes - but here there's nothing. And I can feel the heat from a local sun, but as far as I can tell, it's not actually in the sky.
[He sounds really confused, though he's been doing enough digging to both know that the sun is in its rightful place, and to have some idea as to why he can't sense it. He just wants to know how people react to this.]
And so far I've only run into Humans. Are there really no other species here?

What was your planet like?

No wonder this planet seemed strange. Though there are plenty of advantages to electricity, and it's not like you can't find nature if you leave the cities.

None of the greenery here has the same spark of life that was inherent in the valley; the kiss of magic that lingered throughout everything.
Things here are alive, but...they don't seem AS alive to me. The way I knew them.
It's complicated.

That's strange. People are reporting that any abilities they had back home is replicated here, to the point where it's indistinguishable unless they investigate further. With exceptions such as my ability to sense the sky.
I can sense the lives of creatures and plants as well, but they feel the way they should.

Did they change anything else about your senses or abilities when you arrived?

As to what they could've changed on you yourself, I'm afraid it's mostly trial and error...
