Yeah. It's hard to describe without getting into particulars, but messing with the future is never good. Think of it like trade or war secrets.

I was told whatever happens here, we won't remember back in our world... so I'm not sure how it really matters on a bigger scale.

That is true and as far as I know, no one has ever broken that rule.

Probably not a lot, but on a personal scale, it could be devastating. And then what was the point, if they can’t do anything about it here?

They probably would feel very helpless, specially because there is nothing they can do to change it.

Exactly. So, at least one big negative about telling.
