[Beck appears in a professionally serious mode today.]

This is a general call for volunteers to test out an upcoming therapeutic technology, funded by Wayne Enterprises for potential future use in one of their facilities.

Full disclosure, this is an ongoing process of testing and is not perfected as yet although it is very close. These are final tests to iron out any last bugs or glitches in the system. Non humans are especially welcome so I can input any differences with your psychology and physiology since it may affect the results.

I will be taking around five to ten volunteers for this. Serious applicants only and be warned that since this is about therapy, you will be compelled to divulge some personal details and it will bring up negative memories. These will not be made public.

One last assurance. You will not be physically harmed in any way but be aware of the psychological aspects and know you are signing up to be helped but we won't be held responsible for any adverse or lingering effects. You're being made fully aware up front that this is a trial.

[Katsuki shuts his eyes, and then he brings up this person in the forest clearing too.]

Ugly, huh?

[And then he nods at his memory self, as if giving him the cue, and memory Katsuki snarls, first going after Dabi, who tries to fight back, but can't before Katsuki blows a hole in his chest. Then he starts to go after Shigaraki-]

Trash.

[He goes after Shigaraki, first destroying all of the hands on his body. Shigaraki screams-

BOOM!

And then his head is gone, and his corpse hits the ground.]

[Beck watches, fairly impassive although he does raise an eyebrow at the violence.]

You do have a lot of aggression to get out, don't you. No wonder you kept pushing in our fight.

[hot_handed]

What?!

[He turns around to glare at Beck, while the memories of him and his classmates...are going off to take care of the injured, return home, but otherwise go back to normal.]

That has nothing to do with this. Shut the fuck up or I'll take my aggression out on you.

Keep your temper focused to what you're doing.

You don't want to be sued by a billionaire for ruining the equipment.

Yeah, yeah. Quit your whinin'

[Fine, he wants him to focus on what he's doing? He fast forwards to a Japanese city. It's Kamino Ward, and there's a rubble around, burning buildings and panicked people, and the faceless man from before, and All Might in his muscular form are there, along with Katsuki. But-]

I can't beat him.

[But he is surrounded by equipment and that concerns him. He doesn't want it damaged.]

Why do you think so? What strengths does he have over your own?

[He just stares at Beck like he's crazy.]

Everything.

[Memory Katsuki stands there frozen, because now the memory has taken a different course as the man throws All Might in the air like he's nothing.]

[Beck now takes control and freezes the scene mid-action. He peers at it critically.]

What are your powers? List them.

[hot_handed]

What the fuck? You can do that?!

[He looks annoyed, but he...kind of cooperates.]

My powers were what you saw in our fight. 'Splosions. I got another when I got here, but I haven't used it.

[mysterioisthetruth]

And what are his powers?

[hot_handed]

... [He narrows his eyes. He needs to be careful, so that he doesn't reveal All Might's secret.] He's got an adaptive quirk. He can do basically anything.

[It's a lie. But it's close enough to the truth.]

Then change that. Give him a flaw - and take him down.

That's stupid...

[He scoffs, but then he starts it back up and has the memory Katsuki get in the way before the villain can attack All Might again, throwing out a powerful explosion-

At first nothing happens. The villain starts cackling- until his arm falls off and crumbles to ash. If he had a mouth, he'd be gawking right about now, but the rest of All For One soon crumbles to ash like his arm did.]

[Beck applauds.]

Excellent! There you go. Make this your triumph!

[Memory Katsuki goes up to All Might, still in his heroic form. They exchange some words and All Might leans against Katsuki, which is kind of comical seeing as he's around 7 feet tall and Katsuki's only 5'7- and he guides him off the battlefield. The memory fades.]

But it's not.

It's not real but that's not what matters.

[hot_handed]

That's exactly what matters. It ain't real. It don't change shit.

[He shoves his hands in his pockets.] You got your results. I want another cookie and then I'm out.

It matters up here.

[He taps the side of his head.]

Where you can find your own contentment.

But fine, your participation is appreciated and go ahead, take a couple of cookies.

I prefer killing villains for real.

[He ends up grabbing the whole plate and just STARES at Beck, daring him to stop him and walks off.]

[Beck rolls his eyes at the attitude - and the greediness - but lets him go without verbal protest. He has more packets of cookies in the cupboard for other volunteers later.]

[He would have preferred getting paid, so this is the best he can do! He doesn't steal Beck's plate though, and his exit is announced by the slam of the front door.]
