I know it's normal for people to come and go, and sometimes to come back. But how normal is it that some of those people don't remember being here? Specially if they spent years here, I don't understand how memories can vanish just like that.
I was told multiple-universes exist, so maybe that person who was here isn't really me. I wonder where he went to, though, and if he can come back. I think it's a bit unfair to the people left behind who knew him, but I really don't think I'm him. I'm sorry about that, we can be friends again but we would have to start over.
I'm thinking about going back to college but I'm not sure what to expect from this place. Has anyone tried it? Do I need to do anything special in order to enroll or do I just show them my imPort tattoo? [ he is being a bit cheeky, but can you blame him ]

But college sounds interesting. Has anyone told you how to enroll yet?

No, not really. I mean, the website explains how to do it but I think it's for people from this world, they don't mention imPorts. I was thinking of going there tomorrow to ask.

And I wonder what the difference would be for imPorts.
Do you think we would have to take an exam?
no subject
I'm not sure. Everyone believes what we can do and have studied as long we are Registered imPorts, so I was wondering if it's the same with college. I think it'd be easier to see us as "exchange students" or something like that, but I'm not sure if that will happen.
I wouldn't mind taking an exam, though.

[Which is a problem for Atsushi, but he's too embarrassed to admit it right away.]
It sounds fun when you put it that way.
Being an exchange student to America sounds so impressive in books. I never imagined I would be in a situation where I could be an exchange student myself.

It sounds like a situation from a movie, right? I think it could be fun, plus it's always a good way to get to know the culture more, too.
And people from that culture. [ though kaneki is too shy and most likely he will be a wallflower and the loner weird imPort kid ]

Do you know what you want to study? I looked at a brochure and there were so many options.
no subject
I was a literature freshman back home, so I'm hoping I can do that again. Do you have any idea what you'd like to study?
no subject
Actually, literature was what interested me too. I used to read a lot when I was at the orphanage.
If I could learn more about the books that kept me company, I think I'd be really happy.
no subject
I always read a lot, my house is covered in books. So since I was little, I knew this is what I'd like to study.
If you want, we can go check the university together and look at the literature courses they offer? Also learn how to enroll in them, of course.
no subject
Oh and yes! I would like that a lot. It wouldn't be any trouble to you, would it, Kaneki-san?
no subject
You can also be a translator, maybe follow media and journalism, teaching, advertising, teacher, proofreading... there is a lot.
Not at all. I'd be happy to have some company, too.
no subject
you could do with literature.
Then, please! When would you like to visit? I'm flexible at work these days.
no subject
We could go tomorrow if you'd like.
no subject
Yes, let's do it! I'll ask for the time off right now!
They've been very forgiving towards me as I get settled here. I'm glad our jobs are so understanding.

[ ooc: hii! Would you like to log this or handwave? I'm fine with both! ]
no subject
Thank you very much for inviting me!
[ooc: Hello~! I am fine either way. I can tag Kaneki's open log, if you'd like?]

[ ooc: oohhh that works as well! feel free to, and if you need a specific prompt, let me know (= ]
