Hey!
[ The boy on the screen is leaning in too close to the camera, but that's just because he's excited. There are even a few blond locks falling out from under his bear-skin hat, ruffled after the drama of arrival. ]
A guy said that there are loads of human cities all over, and I could see for myself if I asked here. Then he gave me this cool phone! Is it true? There are more humans out there? Is everyone human here?

... Most people are, yeah. It's really weird.

Hammacow! That's a lot of humans. Are all the cities this big, too? This place is as big as the whole Candy Kingdom!

[ ... Ohboy. Is this kid crazy? He's starting to sound a little bit crazy. Wolf tries her best not to sound too skeptical. ]
Y-yeah, most of the cities are pretty big. I'd say that you get used to it, but you really don't. They're just really crowded, and really noisy.

apocalypse is when the world [as we know it] 'ends,' usually cuz some magic/science blew up or a asteroid hit the planet.
post- is when life goes on anyway.
human technology & magic fucks up the world usually. toxic fumes in the air, dimensional rifts in the space-time continuum, trash dumps, mutant vegetables.
the other critters of the universe all goin 'please stop' except they
can't talk, whoops

[Not that the person appearing on screen looks human himself, with that weird helmet obscuring his face.]

I'm not! [not even close to what finn asked, but whatever.] What planet are you from? Are you not human?! [it's excitable, rather than accusatory.
...look, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. he's not even in the drawer.]

My name's Finn.
[ He is A-OK with this totally derailed conversation topic. ]
Re: voice
I'm Riptide. I didn't know they had humans anywhere else.

You know, I think that's a good thing. It's not so different from home. Just... really different. Really really different.

There are a lot of humans here, but not all. On my world, everyone was human. It's fun to meet all the different people here. Did the guy tell you about the porters that can take you to different cities?
video
[ He definitely told Finn. Finn was not paying attention. ]
I can just zip-zap to another city? That's banoonoonoonoonoos!

[Which is just, you know...normal. By her standards, anyway, considering Ochako does indeed come from Earth herself, but the superpowered quirks people have tend to give them an altered physical body sometimes. Hell, one of her classmates has a raven's head for fuck's sake (love you, Tokoyami-kun).]
If you want, I can show you how to go through the Porters!! They'll take you just about anywhere you want in the major cities here, and I could do for a bit more exploring myself. Did you just arrive here?
Video
[ The more he hears about these porter things the cooler they sound. If the guy who welcomed him had sprinkled in some of this stuff Finn would've paid way more attention to him. ]
That sounds awesome! Yeah, I'd love to go out! I've just been wandering around since I got here this morning.
