video.
HEY, BASTARDS!!!
[The video shows Katsuki standing somewhere in Maurtia Falls with his free hand splayed out and twitching an infuriated scowl on his face as a vein throbs against his forehead. The first thing he did as soon as he got back was start to head home, but he has a question.]
The psychos in the lab coats and Porter thought it would be a good idea to give me some kinda new shitty healing quir-power, and it's bullshit! The fuck is wrong with 'em?! What if I blow someone up on accident instead of on purpose?! So I was wondering-
WHICH OF YA LOSERS ARE GOOD AT HEALING OR WHATEVER!!!

Nope. Nopenopenope.]
Let's do it in Heropa.
You know about where I live, it's only fair I know the same about you.
no subject
[[Easy win. Hook line and sinker. He already knows just where to take him. There was no way he was Taking Katsuki home. Certainly not to Dabi and his apartment, or near to Twice where he was sure Toga harassed often enough.]]
no subject
[He might as well get ready. He ends the call to change into his hero costume and equipment before heading out. He's not taking any risks.]
Text to Action (?)
[[It doesn't take him too much of a change in course to get where he has to, at least city wise. Luckily for him, the last time he was here to meet Ochako, he had a nice encounter with an employee at the same chain he worked at. The man was never late for work again while Shigaraki had to cover in the city for unknown reasons.
It also meant that he hadn't wanted much in the way of loose ends. Loose ends who were on extended vacation and left him with a perfectly good address to give Bakugo. One that he did, in fact, give to Bakugo while wandering through the small home to familiarize himself with it. That way he wouldn't be caught unaware with questions about where things were.]]
Don't keep me waiting.
Action
[It doesn't take long for Katsuki to get there. He's been here long enough to be somewhat familiar with each city, and he reaches the door of the address Shigaraki sent him
And bangs his head against it.]
no subject
He hadn't thought he would head out in his damn hero costume, but children sure loved to dress up if he remembers media telling him enough about it. He totally didn't do it as a kid, or try to outside his house. The door opens up, four fingers on the knob and Shigaraki turns the light on in the porch.]]
If you can't heal yourself and I can't heal you, maybe leave that one last braincell undamaged. Get inside before someone sees you.
no subject
[Katsuki snarls, letting himself in. He doesn't take off his shoes as he goes to stand next to the couch. Maybe other people are okay giving the villains a chance, but there's a difference between Shigaraki and Twice, and he doesn't even trust Twice.]
Now what.
no subject
Now you show me what your quirk can do and we learn to have faith in someone long enough to not flinch. Think you can handle that? [[He knows Katsuki can, but, Shigaraki starts walking away anyway after turning the light out and heading back into the main room.]] Kitchen, I'm not messing up my carpet. There's tile in there in case we get blood on the floor.
no subject
[Is all Katsuki grumbles not-so-quietly under his breath, as he follows Shigaraki into the kitchen. He's not turning his back to Shigaraki. He'd sooner smile at someone.]
Where're your shitty followers?
no subject
They don't live with me. Does that come as a shock? Toga is probably off stalking someone if she isn't bothering Twice and who knows what Dabi does. I don't really care.
[[He cares.]]
no subject
[He doesn't. But he narrows his eyes at the knife Shigaraki pulled.]
You serious? Tch.
no subject
What do you expect to heal? All the other injuries I have are old. Very old.
no subject
[He hates that he has a point.]
no subject
No, that's a good question.
[[Setting down the knife, Shigaraki uses one hand to disassemble his other hand and set the glove and the prosthetic down on the kitchen counter. Without it on there's extensive damage to his hand, the scarring is deep and runs in obvious, previous deep wounds along his hand up toward his wrist.]]
See if you can heal anything on the back of my hand first.
[[He doesn't expect anything extravagant.]]
If you can't, then we'll start with something fresher. Before you start bitching about Decay, it has to be all five fingers.
[[Okay so it didn't anymore, but he could control it a lot better thanks to this place and offered out his hand.]]
Go ahead. I'll monitor the quirk.
no subject
[Not that he cares or anything, but what the fuck happened? That wasn't him. He's sure it wasn't. He doesn't flinch, or look disgusted or anything, at least no more than he would with Shigaraki.
He lifts up his hands and then hesitates.]
I-
[He has to touch him and HE CAN'T PUNCH OR BLOW HIM UP.]
no subject
Someone thought they had the upper hand, but I only needed one.
[[Enjoy his pun, he's funny. But he does realize why there's hesitation from the young man and rolls his eyes again.]]
Don't think I wouldn't relish in it being the other hand and just whipping it around when you least expect it. I want to have you touch me as much as you want to. Either it's touch activated or somehow else, let's find out.
no subject
[He rolls his eyes and he wants to groan. Shit, that was so fucking bad. Villains don't get to make puns.]
Whatever.
[If he's going to touch Shigaraki, he's going to grab his hand as forcefully and uncomfortably as possible.] Oops.
[He makes a face and concentrates, silent for nearly a minute, and-
Nothing.]
What the fuck?! Why ain't it working?!
no subject
If there was one thing he knew, it was when a quirk was trying to activate, what it was trying to do and specifically if it was to his body once he started using AFO in retaliation. In this case, Bakugo could keep his little ability, it served no purpose to Shigaraki but the knowledge of it and what it felt like out there would be invaluable.]]
No, it's working. Guaranteed it's trying to work. Quirks from this world are muscle memory, just like our born quirks. Stop talking and keep trying.
no subject
How do you know?! How do you know it's working?! I don't fucking feel anything, this is bullsh-
[It's warm. Katsuki normally runs warm, but it's less soothing and more uncomfortable as some of the surface scarred tissue starts regenerating. Katsuki lifts up his hands in shock, and his palms start to spark in panic. He didn't heal much damage, but Shigaraki will find that the scarred tissue has faded somewhat, as if the healing process was accelerated.]
no subject
I can feel it.
[[He can call it bullshit all he wants, but, he can. Right down to the moment he has to power through using his own ability and taking it away. He didn't want that, he wanted exactly this. Not the healing, he didn't care how he looked, he wanted to know what this was inside and out with no exception. Moments before the more familiar sparks, everything seemed to settle in to place.]]
Thโ
[[The hands up, the sparksโ Shigaraki is the one doing the flinching. A scowl of his own on his face. The lightening of some of his scars proved enough to him. He at least knew that it worked.]]
I told you it was working.
[[His eyes turned down toward his otherwise maimed hand.]]
If you've got a hold of yourself, and you're not going to blow my house up, we can try something fresher and see which was easier feeling.
no subject
What a pain in the ass.]
It didn't do much. Ain't worth it.
no subject
"Isn't" worth what? What isn't worth "it". What's even is it? You're the sort who's been good at everything the moment you touch it, are you afraid of hard work, Bakugo?
no subject
[He snarled, crouching low to the ground before nearly flinching. The words sting. The challenge stings.]
I ain't afraid of nothing. You really want me to be harder to kill? Fine, knock yourself out.
cw: blood
Good, then I won't have to hear you whinging while you get the easy part of this.
[[Easy indeed. His pain tolerance was higher, way higher, than a good few there. The cut on the back of his hand pooled blood on his newly healed skin. The cut was deep enough to bleed but was easily stemmed by four fingers around his wrist down lower. Keeping regeneration at bay was another story and done by activating its main quirk. It'd help, at least, with keeping it an open line to monitor the healing quirk.]]
Alright. Get it done.
no subject
[Katsuki remarked dryly. That was one fucked up hand. He despised the idea of healing Shigaraki, hell, he hated that he even helped with his scars. After everything... But if he wanted to be used, by all means.
Trying not to make a face, Katsuki moved to place his palms on the arm connected to Shigaraki's hand. He wasn't about to touch blood. Fucking germs. He concentrated again, trying to remember how it felt.]
You go all five-fingers and you decay yourself?
