Not entirely England. I travelled in Asia for a while—spent some time in Singapore.

Why not? [ and, because he knows that's a terrible answer, he continues talking. ] I'd spent most of my time in England before that, with occasional visits across the pond aside, and I decided I wanted a bit of travel. Why not retrace the steps of famous explorers who vanished mid-expedition? After all, it's not like whatever killed them could kill me—and it would be fun. So, that's what I did.
