Given recent events, this kind of thing might be far from everyone's mind--but I've been doing some reading up on this "Thanksgiving" holiday I was hearing about. It seems like American culture considers the timeframe of late November through New Years to be "the holiday season," hallmarked by a general sense of generosity and togetherness.

We might be able to use that to our advantage. If we could coordinate an event, we could gain appeal for our peers with the locals. In the event that the government decides to really bare their fangs at us, we may have fostered helpful alliances to fall back on.

I'm of the habit to organize gatherings centered around food, but--I'm sure that my roommates are starting to feel that trick is a little old hat. [No they don't. People will never get tired of food, Senketsu.] Does anyone else have any other ideas?

Listen, if you have an open event for imPorts, there's at least a seventy percent chance someone is going to blow it up or set it on fire or a giant fucking bird is going to crash land in the middle of it. The more of us you have in one place the greater chance there is of untold catastrophe and woe. Trust me. That cannot possibly end well, not for anyone, and especially not our public image.

Events of late were not organized by imPorts. They were organized by the government, or by average local people, without an idea of what kind of security imPorts needed.

Surely a room full of people with a diverse array of superhuman powers would be able to provide their own security.
