As usual.]

Given recent events, this kind of thing might be far from everyone's mind--but I've been doing some reading up on this "Thanksgiving" holiday I was hearing about. It seems like American culture considers the timeframe of late November through New Years to be "the holiday season," hallmarked by a general sense of generosity and togetherness.

We might be able to use that to our advantage. If we could coordinate an event, we could gain appeal for our peers with the locals. In the event that the government decides to really bare their fangs at us, we may have fostered helpful alliances to fall back on.

I'm of the habit to organize gatherings centered around food, but--I'm sure that my roommates are starting to feel that trick is a little old hat. [No they don't. People will never get tired of food, Senketsu.] Does anyone else have any other ideas?

You're not the guy who's stuck healing everybody when the smoke clears.

What an awful job to be stuck with.

It kind of is, yeah.

I take people's injuries when I heal 'em. So if you got your leg blown off, I could fix that for you in like two seconds, but I'd lose my leg.

You could always opt out, if that's the case. Not everyone is cut out to provide that degree of selflessness.

I mean, yeah, I could. But I ain't an asshole. So.

Avoiding injury does not make you an 'asshole'. You have a right be invested in your well-being.

Not when it means watching somebody else die.

Taking on a fatal injury doesn't kill you?

[hostage]

I heal faster than regular people. Plus I can do stuff like just stop the bleeding or keep 'em from having seizures and whatever. I got pretty good at controlling it. I don't usually take everything, that way I can get to more than just one person.
