[ He turns away and gestures with his free hand, opening a glowing golden portal in the air beside him. He steps through, and after a few minutes, an identical portal appears in the exact spot that Toboe photographed. Klarion hops out, looking slightly out of breath, but still grinning hugely as the portal gapes open. ]

I seem to be able to get around town without much trouble. Going outside the city limits was somewhat tiring, but I think that just means that I'll have to pace myself when I take longer trips. Several smaller jumps instead of one large leap, as it were.

More similar to how it is for a few I know. It's good to test limits, see if you can build up that endurance here, as it were.

That's what I'm trying to find out!

[ One quick portal-hop later, Klarion steps into the restaurant, tracking sand all over the floor and getting horrified looks from the waiters. The management will no doubt have something to say about bringing a cat into an upscale restaurant, but Klarion will happily deal with them later! ]

I haven't had much luck going between cities, yet. I think longer trips will have to be made with a series of shorter jumps.
