[A combination of general guilt, nagging from Winry, and her newly found confidence to actually be in the same room with Anna for more than an hour (wow!) has led Elsa to make this post now. Really it was something she should have done some time ago, but it's easier to cling to the status quo.]

Hello. My name is Elsa, and it's been awhile since I've posted at large like this. [Since she hates doing it.]

I have a favor to ask... well, not really a favor, as I intend to pay anyone who's willing to help me. I would like to train my powers, and get better at controlling them. Others have tried to help me with this in the past, but they're gone now.

As for what my powers are, well...

[She holds up her hand, without a glove, for once, and flexes it. Snowflakes burst into being, glittering in the air for a moment before falling down around her.]

I can also freeze things, and make things out of ice. It's strongly affected by my emotions.

[Now, the fun part...]

There is some risk involved. If my powers strike you directly, they could freeze your mind, or your heart, killing you from the inside. It's... difficult to cure.

[She glances away for a moment, then looks back at the camera.]

I understand if no one wants to help me, knowing that, but I would appreciate it. If you're interested, we can work out details of payment.

Yes. When I'm calm, I can control them, but if I get upset, or feel threatened, they react, badly.

An aspect of how I shift means the body I'm in at the time is and isn't directly connected to my own. It's possible that training on that Titan body will allow you to work on control, while leaving me unharmed.

[ it's... actually entirely likely she'd be fine. the Titan form can take a hell of a lot of damage, and even heading to the "heart' of the Titan doesn't head to Annie's own heart, or brain. #freaky ]

It's another offer among many, and it would involve seeing and working with me in Titan form, which may be less than desirable on your part.

[ or hers, but she does... know she needs to work on all parts of what she does. she also doesn't want to talk about psychic shielding right now. ]

Is that dangerous? Even if my powers wouldn't hurt you, you would have to be in Titan form to do it.

[She doesn't think the idea of that scares her (of course, she hasn't seen one in person), but she doesn't want to make Annie do anything she doesn't want to.]

That's a very versatile ability, Miss Elsa... but it's reassuring, that you are concerned about the safety of those who might help you. If you are still in need of someone to assist you, I would be happy to help. I'm-- not human [ which is less off-putting upon introduction than god of death ] and therefore not susceptible to the kind of damages you're describing.

I think this will really help you, I'm glad you're trying to reach out. You're braver than you think.

[With her solar absorption and, you know, already frozen heart, there's probably nothing left Elsa could do that would be much worse. Still, Anna knows she'll be instantly rejected. She's offered to help her sister repeatedly and though things are stiff (which is better than nonexistent) they're still precarious in the princess' mind.]

I might be able to help you out, too. I regenerate, so it's pretty tough to hurt me. I can also heal other people, like, if you accidentally hurt somebody else.

That's helpful for normal injuries, but if I freeze someone's heart or head, it takes more than healing magic to cure it.

Unfortunately I have no experience with your brand of powers, but I have experience with abilities that are based off of emotion.

I've tried, yes. It helps that things have been mostly calm, other than the occasional attack. And it also helps that I don't feel so much like I need to hide, here.

So do you know some ways to control powers like mine, then? Ones controlled by emotion?

[Uh.] Though I guess it might be a bit harder for us to try and train together because of the whole fire and ice thing. [Opposing elements and whatnot. Plus there's an even bigger chance of them both hurting each other by accident but... hey. Might as well offer to try helping her roomie out.]

Well, the last man who helped me had fire powers as well. But he wasn't made of fire. I'm not sure if my powers would hurt you more, because of that.

It hadn't much bothered her then, either. ]

If your power is affected by your emotions, then it's your own heart, that you should be most concerned with.

[ Her voice is calm, low and steady. ]

You have a lot of offers already, I know, but you can have mine as well. Hearts are my specialty, and I've known someone with powers like yours... as well as others, just as dangerous. You wouldn't have to worry about hurting me.

Or about me disappearing.

When you say hearts are your specialty, what do you mean?

You've only had this problem since arriving? How unfortunate for you, being made lesser than your abilities, I can't even imagine how difficult it must be.

[She sounds a bit ashamed of that fact, but her voice moves back into neutral territory pretty quickly.]

But that's why I'm making an effort to correct it now. I have more people who know what to do about it, here.
