The holidays are all about family and loved ones. Tell me, who are the valuable people in your life? What is important about them? How do they bring you peace? Are they a friend or related to you somehow? Are they here, or are you missing them?

My daughters are the most valuable people in my life. Thankfully, they are not here in this place.

Even though we miss people, sometimes it's best for them to be far. What are their names?

Therapy? No, I don't benefit from such things. [ Says the guy with a million problems. ]

I just like hearing nice things sometimes.

Well, that's fair.

Uhhh, so my family is pretty small but awesome. We all get along, for the most part. Got my mom and dad, and my aunt and uncle live nearby. Some honorary grandparents, my real granddad but he lives kind of far away so I don't get to see him that often. We get together for the holidays and people's birthdays and stuff. It's all pretty normal and boring and disgustingly wholesome.

I'm really lucky, a lot of the people who are important to me are here. My sister's here, and a bunch of people from the team I worked on back home.

How fortunate! Many of mine are here as well. What are your friends like?

That's kind of a big question.

One of them is that guy who responded before me. That's Wally. He's really funny, in the not-funny-at-all kinda way. His cousin Bart's on the team too and he's... I'm not really sure what to make of him, but he's cool. And there's... Connor. He's the overprotective big brother of the group I think. Our team leader is Robin, and he's like, crazy responsible but also kind of a huge dork. [Queue Robin impression.] Alright! Let's do this, I've got a plan! Let's get traught. And my sis, she's the greatest. After I um, after I lost my mom, she really took care of me.

They're basically my family. It's a pretty weird family, with way too much time travel involved, but... y'know. [He doesn't want to use one of those sappy lines like "we have each other" or "I love them anyways"(even though he really does), so he just leaves off as is.]

My father is the most important person in my life. But no, he isn't here.

What is your fondest memory with him?

When he came home.

( Her father rarely returned to Germany, preferring to allow Franziska to visit him in America. She still remembers the first time she remembers him being gone, and what it had been like when he had returned - however briefly.

It had been foolish to hope he would stay longer, but she'd hoped anyway. )

I miss some of my family back home. [Her aunt and uncle, and her brothers, mainly. She definitely doesn't miss her father.] But I've made some pretty good friends here, and they're all really important to me.
