I decided at New Year's that I'm going to make this a good year. I have a lot of stuff that I need to do and deal with, and a lot of stuff that I just WANT to do, aside from that. So! First thing's first:
Does anybody have really awesome healing powers? Or do you know anybody with really awesome healing powers?
I don't know if I can actually fix what I'd like fixed. I mean, I knew a great healer, but he couldn't do anything. It might be a lost cause, but I'll try again.
(I have a dead hand, by the way. That's what it is.)
Also, since there's been another wave: Hello, new people! My name's Laurie. I hope you're having an okay time.

Have you tried to ask the doctors here? Since they have nanites and... all sort of technology, it seems.
Oh! Ken. Hi.
Um... I haven't, really. I guess I thought superpowers would be more likely to be the answer, but that's a good point. I've heard a little bit about the nanites, but not a whole lot. Maybe that's a little more unsettling to me?
It's probably worth looking into, though, if nothing else works out.

In case you don't find a healer, that is.

Guess who still had his powers.

I'm not a healer, but I can try to fix it anyway.

[Winry doesn't want to think on how much this might hurt her.]
And if it doesn't work, I'm an automail engineer.

The healing, though... Um. I've spoken to people before who are healers, but the injuries that they heal adversely affect them. I don't know if that's a rule here, but... I guess I'm asking how you're powers work.

Be careful okay? Getting it healed up would be awesome. Having it hurt not so much

I'm trying to ask the right questions to make sure it's safe for everybody beforehand (haha. hand.), so it should work out okay one way or another.

I'm certain that you'll be able to make this into a very enjoyable year indeed with that sort of spirit. Hopefully you'll be able to check off more of your goals than I did last year!
[just a little joke about his poor time management skills. he always seems to bite off more than he can chew.]
Speaking of which, I'm glad that you've received so many offers of help already! If none of them manage to repair your hand, which I hope isn't the case, I'd also be willing to see if my powers could perhaps help.

Thank you! For the encouragement and the offer, of course. Hopefully, something will work before I have to search any more desperately.
Do you heal, then?

im afraid the most i can personally offer is limited by current medical knowledge
but prosthetics may be an option if others are ineffective
[ if you need someone to amputate though, she's your girl. ]

Actually, the people who have offered so far ought to have their names listed by their replies. You can probably message them privately, if you'd like. Or you can talk to them here. I don't mind.
