[After a while of fiddling around with her phone/comm, Rikki eventually decides to bite the bullet and say hi. Voice seems like the best plan – her face isn’t exactly too pretty right now – so that’s what she sets up. It’s clear that her message is coming from a hospital room, though, with the background noise as it is. Monitoring equipment, nurses and doctors walking past her room, all that good stuff.
Her tag reads Rikki Barnes.]
Hey. I’m Rikki, I’m... new. [Geez, she’s really great at dynamic introductions, isn’t she?] I guess... I’m not really new to the hero business, though. I used to work with the Avengers. If that means anything to you. Not really new to starting over in a new reality either, I guess. Kinda new to the military greeting, though, and I’ve never been a tattoo kinda girl. Well, not tattoos that show up without my say-so. Do these things come off? At least they’re not always visible.
[ugh Rikki stop rambling, you can do better than this.] I guess I’m just fact-gathering right now, so if anyone wants to talk about their experience with this place, I’m willing to listen. Or play tick-tack-toe, I kinda don’t have much to do right now. [And doesn’t really want to feel alone right now, but she’s not going to say that part.]
Oh, right. I'm assigned to house 001 in Maurtia Falls, and I'm not gonna be able to move in for a few days. Don't take all the nice rooms before I can get there.

Hey Rikki. I'm Jacob. Sorry to say, but the tattoo is there to stay. At least for the time being.

It can always be worse. Of course, it could be a lot better too. You said you're not new to hopping realities, so you've got a head start over most of the other new people. That's something, at least.

[ Verity Willis, as her id reads, and she — as it also happens — is most definitely a Tattoo Kinda Girl with fairies and roses wreathing up both arms. Since the caller is stuck in a hospital or some such locale, Verity shoulders aside her doubts about living alongside other people for the time being and opts to be welcoming instead. They're all in this together, right?
And if the girl starts lying, setting off Verity's detection gifts, she'll know ahead of time to avoid her. ]
I'm sorting out my own room, is there anything you'd like me to get for yours? Any food requests to label for you in the fridge?

There's quite a few of the Avengers here.

When it comes to stuff to do, though ... you'll notice it gets busy pretty quickly. [Or for people like them, anyway.]

Uh, what sorts of things did you want to know, anyway?

[For one thing, she probably got medical care faster here than she would have at home, given that they would have had to deal with the crazy terrorist cult first still. Also she might have exploded if she stayed. She's pretty sure she saw the Widow before she passed out, but it might've been a hallucination.]
I don't know. People being treated okay? Anyone being conscripted into anything...? The tats are kinda suspicious, let's be real.

But we're not actually formally conscripted, or anything. Whatever we end up doing, we do by choice.

Well, there's quite a lot of information floating around, we might be able to answer any questions you have.
Are you in Cape Canaveral, still?
