[Upon retrospect this is a pretty terrible idea. Even if she's using text over video, asking for some help with this studying thing might not be the best of ideas. She'll have to meet with one or more of these people eventually. What if she's still stuck in this dumb magical girl outfit? That's embarrassing. It's already bad enough that she has to go out in public. And it's not like she can wear a huge coat and hat indoors.

But on the other hand having a vespa sitting around collecting dust isn't going to help her much. She's got to make the most out of this world.]

Hey everyone. My name's Marie and I'm new here. I've gotten the basics down pretty well, but I was wondering if someone could do me a favor. I've got this Hovervespa, but no liecents. [She means license.] Could someone with one tutor me? This book I got is a little overwhelming.

Meanwhile, for those of you who are in Apartment Number 26, Marie can be found sitting at a table reading the aforementioned book so she can get her license. Nothing too strange, except she's completely covered by a big blanket. It's almost like she's trying to hide what she's wearing...

Only if they catch you. I've been doing it since they gave me the thing, and it's been fine.

It's not really that hard - it's just gas and brake, plus keeping your balance. Cars are a hell of a lot harder.

I think it's worth trying at least. Beats taking the bus. Every time I go on it smells horrible. Plus it's always packed.

Maybe? Although the ones I've seen didn't ride any.

[Oh--this is the young woman she'd spoken to briefly. She hadn't connected the Marie she'd spoken to before to the Marie also assigned to this household until now.

In person, Riza looks a bit banged up--she's spent half the day in the hospital at the demand of the Colonel, but now she's back.

And looking rather oddly at the blanket-mound.]

[The voice definitely startles Marie. She had been hoping that the blanket would turn people away from talking to her, but with Riza here it apparently had the opposite effect. Dammit...]

I-I'm finally! Totally fine!

[Lies. Made all the more obvious by how she tightly wraps the blanket around herself.]

[That's literally the exact opposite of what she wanted Riza to do. Trying even harder to cover up her outfit, Marie wraps the blanket around herself even tighter and looks down at her book.]

Absolutely! S-so if you could just go over there and not look at me that would be great!

[THe blonde doesn't even argue. Instead, she walks to the kitchen, setting the bag she'd brought home with her on the counter. Groceries need to be put away--meaning sorry Marie, you aren't getting out of this that easy.]

I went on a test drive with a guy who probably didn't have his license and they were just like yeah go for it

Yeah I got that part, I was using car as shorthand for vehicle. I'm pretty sure that no place has hovering vespas and nothing else

Though you're right it wouldn't be impossible. There's probably a universe out there that uses nothing but segways
