Sorry this has taken so long, but a couple things have come up.

I am going to start hosting Self Defense classes at Dawn of the Delts in downtown Maurtia Falls. It'll be Tuesday and Thursday nights between 5pm and 9pm. I'll be hosting classes for different age brackets but that will depend on who signs up. Adult classes at 7pm-9pm, Teens from 5pm-7pm.

There'll be a signup sheet at the front desk for both classes. If you have any questions you can let me know here. I'll think about more advanced classes once we get a better idea of where everyone's starting at.

Two things happened, on the day of this past Swearing In. The first is what we all know to be true, which is that fire ravaged the woodlands, putting lives in danger. The second is what you may have heard through hearsay, or seen on social media, which is that a dragon was responsible.

[ Daenerys draws up her posture. Displeased, imperious, and no apology forthcoming. If she is angry, it's the kind of anger that has largely run its course, and now smolders away beneath the surface. ]

There was a dragon, that day. He was found barely conscious, in amongst the fires. Being of the fire-breathing kind, the conclusion is natural. But it is also wrong.

The dragon has a name, Drogon, and he is mine. He came with me to this world, and will leave with me when I one day depart it. His actions can be considered my actions also -- that is how closely our bond is entwined. And I know he didn't set the forest ablaze, that day, or any day. He's lived peaceably in De Chima for months, now.

[ But she is getting angry at some invisible accuser, rather than addressing a neutral audience and pulls back from her own ire. ]

Someone did him harm, and I would go so far as to say that whoever harmed him might also be responsible for the fires. I know that many of us mobilised to help, and if you have any information, or if you saw anything strange, I would know it, please. Or, if you know who was responsible, I would know that too.

[ Ire ends on a wry note, then, but no less serious. That taken care of, she pauses, and adds; ]

Accusations and blame are their own kind of wildfire, and misinformation spreads swiftly. I've begun an attempt to control and form discussion online between imPort and native, and so if any of you have social media presence or interest, you'll find use of the hashtag FightingFires over Bwitter, and the like. Make use of it. Perhaps, if one group deigned to speak to the other openly, there'll be less room for these kinds of incidents in the future.

[ There is much she isn't saying, but she has said all that she had intended, and ends transmission there. ]
