[Getaway doesn't bother with any "hi how is everyone" or anything particularly charming for his "first" post. He's been here before, and he has a lot of of mixed feelings about being back. He's about to talk about those feelings, because he's in a bit of a weird mood right now. That kind of mood where he's between wanting to talk and connect to people, and wanting to violently murder the next fool who so much as looks at him.

Right now he's leaning towards talking. He's got absolutely nothing else, so he'll talk.]

Ever had the weird experience where one moment you're very, very dead in your own reality, and suddenly you wake up here, fully alive? And you're like, sure. I'm alive. That's a good thing to be, yes? Great, even! But now you've got to live with the memory of how and why you've died and things just go really, really badly from there.

And now you're here! Someplace else from everyone you've ever known, and that's not even necessarily a bad thing? Because you're alive! Great! Fantastic!

[His voice is cheery. Almost overly so. His expression is blank, but that might be the case no matter what for some people, as he doesn't really have a face, his only ability to express himself is in his eyes and body language. Neither of them show a whole lot in a video. Someone with a good sense of people might get the sense that this cybertronian was on the edge of a breakdown.]

Alive!

With nothing!

But in the grand scheme of things, it's better to be alive with nothing than to be dead with nothing, yes? That might mean that someone out there, somewhere out there, wants to keep you around for their own purposes. Interesting thought, eh?

Good evening. This is an official communication video from the ALKE Project. I think after what happened in July, it became clear we needed a new approach to how things need to be handled, which you probably have read or seen on the media and Majority Report. However, we realize it’s not just the native population that ought to be addressed: many imPorts do not know what this project is about, nor understand why we are following through with it.

Project ALKE begun back in April and it’s a hero joint effort to build a spaceship to reach Phobos. The reason why we wish to reach the moon of Mars, is because we believe OTO has a missile Launchpad, from where they sent the missile that would have hit Heropa back in March, wasn’t it for Lachesis intervention.

We understand many of you weren’t here back then, and we understand OTO has a big, long and complicated history with us. We also understand there are many issues and questions that might arise from such a decision to just go into space on a recon mission. Which is why we are making this post – we want to address your questions and concerns. We can’t promise we will be able to answer everything, but we will do our best.

Finally, I’m happy to announce we have received support from the government and NASA and they have joined this endeavor. Project ALKE is officially government approved and apart from the original recon mission, we are also now a scientific mission.
