It never rains, it pours. [ and there's Dorian just looking SO GRUMPY because urgh, he still had a buzz from yesterday's Mardi Gras party and now that high is just crushed ]
So I went to the prison to pay our dear friend Lunatic a visit, and found some wonderful news. Not only did Yuri most likely die [ again ] during Saturday's fiasco, but according to security footage, the fact that I can't contact him and, most tellingly, the decided lack of a corpse, it seems that the Porter decided now would be a wonderful time to take Mr. Petrov back to his own world.
[ and that is making Dorian grumpy. in fact, it is making him super grumpy and he's borderline sulking right now. ]
You can try to do a locater spell or use your super-tracking or something ridiculous like that, but I doubt it'll be any use. [ his tone shifts to something dark, something annoyed. ] Don't waste your effort on him anyway. He doesn't deserve it.
Now if anyone needs me, I'm going to go drink myself into oblivion and probably wallow in guilt for the next few hours. [ and then, said as sarcastic as possible, with a little wave. ] Cheers!

I still have the key to his place. [Better than his initial first message, which was just "you're the one he burned, right?" because that's tactful.] Anything you can think of there that you want?

I have to admit, I didn't know him well. But he seemed... interesting?

Whatever. Sorry, she's not really mourning.]
...Just don't come home drunk. Why should you be guilty of anything?
no subject
Oh, I've got plenty of reasons to be guilty, the first one being that I didn't strangle that bastard when I had the opportunity. [ except he kind of did. NOT TELLING ANITA THAT, THOUGH. ]

That's not a very productive way to deal with guilt.

What a shame. [It- really is, and he pouts for a few moments before pulling in a breath and looking to the screen again.] Let me know if you'd like some company- though I'd offer we do something else instead of wallowing.

I suppose the Porter was as sick of him as anyone else. [His tone is disgusted, yes, but mildly so, lacking the heated, passionate disdain he usually holds towards murderers and other criminals. He has not forgiven Yuri for what he's done, but their last conversation gave him much to think about, and he finds it difficult to maintain his usual (comfortable) hatred.] But at least he was able to face some kind of justice here, first, as lacking as it may be.

I didn't call here to brag, Gray.
[His voice is seething with barely constrained anger. However, it's not the implied narcissism that makes Edgeworth see red, so much as the jab at his competence]
