First of all, it allows him to simply copy and paste the information he's collected, thus giving him a quick, convenient way to share what he knows. Second, it's much easier to save face when others can't see your face or hear your voice.]

First of all, I would like to apologize for anything I may have said or done over the past few days. I wasn't exactly myself, for reasons that I'm sure all of you understand at this point.

Second: I've received some information related to our old friends. Or rather, I've received some *memories*. Some of it relates directly to the Hornets and their allies, but not all of it, I'm afraid. Here's what I've been able to gather.

***1st Memory***

The Hornet, Isaac Cantrell, is speaking to a "hero" by the name of Liam. He mentions rumors regarding three bodies that were dumped in the forest, and says, quote, "They never could figure out how the resurrection tech worked in the end." Unfortunately, I received no other information regarding who was involved.

***2nd Memory***

Cantrell is speaking to someone about how the Hornets funded their activities. According to him, they funded themselves, though a few of their members were quite wealthy. They may have had other connections to the business world; it's a lead that's worth investigation, in my opinion.

***3rd Memory***

This one doesn't have to do with the Hornets, but rather, our friend Narga. Cantrell came across a fluff article about him and his charity, the Lif Foundation; the article itself isn't important so much as the disgust it inspired in Cantrell. As it turns out, the Hornets had mixed feelings regarding Narga. Some of them viewed him as a potential ally, while others suspected him of having another agenda and thought it best to avoid him entirely.

Unfortunately, the memory provided no other information on Narga. However, if he was able to catch the Hornets' attention, then it's safe to assume that the Lif Foundation is interested in more than just charity.

Both are possible. Before I discuss this further, though, I'd like you to take a look at another conversation.

Thank you. [It's nicer than "lol read it, good stuff," and if it's taken the wrong way, at least it's not so bad.] So if Narga's talked about being into anarchy, to use Ms. Bishop's phrasing, is that what you think the Hornets were trying to avoid?

Perhaps the second and third memories are connected- those wealthier Hornets might have connections to Narga, or at least an acquaintance with him.

[Sabriel was one of the imPorts curing people. Do you want to assume she cured Edgeworth?]

It's a definite possibility. Even if Narga has no interest in their goals, that wouldn't stop them from trying to get him on their side.

Exactly- and whatever they suspect his goals are, some aspect of them may overlap with what the Hornets want.

Also, that first memory- if the Hornets wanted to get rid of us, finding a way to make us stay dead would have been an option.

I can try to write up the memories pulled up when I was brought back to normal. If that helps.

Any information regarding these memories is valuable, no matter how big or how small. Whatever you have to share, I'm sure it would be helpful.

It's more about attitudes. At least one of the native heroes was considering marrying an imPort, and Medina wondered if he wouldn't feel inferior to her (or him, it wasn't said) . That kind of discontent, and that kind of acceptance, was probably more widespread in the last generation of imPorts present.

Aside from that, they were actively looking to find ways to get the Porter shut down. Even stranding us in the interim was acceptable... if in the end they could prevent more from arriving. The ideal solution was to shut down the Porter and have us be returned to where we came. A direct approach didn't seem feasible, but it was part of what they wanted to do, once a means of getting through Heropa and the imPort concentration there and by Canaveral was found.

[That's...actually a fair point. He was- ...no, is certain that these memories are genuine, but as much as he hates to admit it, he can't know for certain. Edgeworth's not ready to give up this trail so easily, though]

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for that right now. Right now, our best course of action is to investigate these leads to the best of our abilities, and make our judgments based on the evidence we find.
