So. I'm dropping out of school.

It's been piling up, just stupid reasons at first. I thought if I go to school everything will be as it was before corpses rose up and start eating people. I guess I was in denial or something, because eventually it quickly became not the case.

[ It's so frustrating because he gets tensed when the school bell rings. He always look for escape routes, a habit that is useful, but sometimes disturbs him simply because he notices he's the only one in a room that does it. ]

For English class we were supposed to write about our own personal biography. I got into trouble when I presented mine.

[ With teachers looking at him, either in disappointment or pity; some of the kids avoiding him while others pester him in the gruesome details of his life back home.

It made him feel more alone than anything else. ]

Anyway, I was thinking: there's that school for imPorts, right? Is that still open?

Writing one's story can be a good thing but you should not have to share it with those you don't choose. Especially if parts are very recent. Another school might be best or a tutor should that be unavailable.

It's just something you do in English class. You make a big project, you present it. I just assumed people here accept that imPort lives would be different from theirs.

Not detention. I just got sent to the principal's office about it. That part was fine, I guess, but annoying. It's just that now some parents are telling their kids not to talk to me anymore, or some other kids are asking questions that they really shouldn't ask, y'know? That's the part I couldn't stand any more.

My teacher took me to the principal. They seemed concerned that I might, I dunno, snap and just gun people down or something. After that, it's either the other students avoiding me or it's remaining students asking stupid questions.
